  • Patent number: 10837430
Abstract: Embodiments relate to a high-pressure fuel pump having a pump piston which, during operation, moves in translation between a pressure chamber and a leakage chamber. The leakage chamber has a leakage collecting region and an equalizing region. A low-pressure damper having a bellows-shaped corrugated damper plate is arranged in the equalizing region.

Inventors: Markus Zankl, Bernd Wöllisch, Heiko Zabich, Yury Mikhaylov, Thomas Fuchs
  • Patent number: 10801453
Abstract: Various embodiments include a high-pressure port for a fuel pump comprising: a body defining an internal volume; an outlet valve with an element opening in a first direction; a pressure-limiting valve with an element opening in an opposite second direction; a common valve plate including a sealing seat for both valve elements; and a sleeve guiding the outlet valve element during movement, fastened in the body with an axial stop limiting movement of the outlet valve element and a radial guide guiding the outlet valve element during movement. The guiding sleeve comprises a harder material than the body.

    Inventors: Markus Zankl, Jurgen Bohmann
  • Patent number: 10746148
Abstract: Various embodiments include a check valve for a high-pressure component in a fuel injection system comprising: a valve housing with a valve hole having an inner diameter; a valve seat and a sealing element arranged in the valve hole; and a coil spring pushing the sealing element toward the valve seat along a longitudinal axis of the valve hole. The coil spring includes a plurality of coil turns each having an outer diameter. In a non-assembled state of the check valve, the outer diameter of at least one of the coil turns is greater than the inner diameter of at least a portion of the valve hole, so that in an assembled state of the check valve, the coil spring is secured in a force-fitting manner in the valve hole.
