Abstract: A flexible tack strip, which is a series of plastic pads connected by a flexible spline provides a totally unique system for the attachment of one carpet edge to another. The captive tacks function in much the same manner as a conventional tack strip, however, the conventional tack strip cannot bend around a curve. The flexible tack strip can follow a curvature with ease. The flexible tack strip can be secured to the floor or any other surface, including in wet areas with a variety of fastening devices and compositions.
