  • Publication number: 20020032075
Abstract: A golf putter includes a head supported by a generally straight shaft or a somewhat curved shaft. The head defines toe and heal cavities which may contain weight units or filler units. The weights and fillers may be rearranged to vary the overall weight of the head, and to vary the distribution of the weight front-to-back and side-to-side. A plurality of differently shaped solid faces and frame-type faces are available for attachment to the front portion of the head. The frame-type faces have inserts which vary in the shape of the impact surface and hardness of the material from which the face plate is made. An eye chart, used in conjunction with a laser mounted on the head of the putter, and a method of use provide information to the golfer about the suggested arrangement of the weights in the head of the club.

  • Patent number: 5259288
Abstract: A plastic cased metal headed ammunition casing for high powered rifle and cannon cartridges is described in which the plastic case has a pressure regulating baffle or wall in the forward and thereof to regulate and control the development of chamber pressure and directs pressure into a space around the bore of the projectile prior to movement of the projectile. The cartridge is charged with a given charge of powder and the cap or head securely fastened to the rearward portion of the plastic casing. An expandable sleeve may be used to stabilize the head-casing interfit. The head provides sufficient resistance to the residual pressure after firing so that the cartridge can be used in rapid fire automatic weapons.

  • Patent number: 5151555
Abstract: A plastic cased metal headed ammunition casing for high powered rifle cartridges is described in which the plastic case has a pressure regulating baffle or wall in the forward end thereof to regulate and control the development of chamber pressure movement of the bullet into the rifle barrel. The cartridge is charged with a given charge of powder and the cap or head securely fastened to the rearward portion of the plastic casing. The head provides sufficient resistance to the residual pressure after firing so that the cartridge can be used in rapid fire automatic weapons.

  • Patent number: 4312438
Abstract: A ring having a plurality of successive receptacles revolves around a flat disc within a containment wall holding a plurality of randomly piled conical bullets. The disc and receptacles are inclined with the upper edge of the disc being positioned closely adjacent the downward end of the receptacles and slightly above the lower surfaces of the receptacles so that bullets carried by the receptacles past the edge of the disc will be held within the receptacles. The disc is recessed to have a lower surface well below the center line of the bullets within the receptacles and a beveled cam raises the bullet so that bullets having their conical noses facing the edge will slide from the receptacles back into the pile but bullets with their cylindrical ends facing the disc will engage the lower surface of the recess of the disc and continue to be held in the receptacles.

  • Patent number: 4196670
Abstract: A method is disclosed for coating bullets to reduce the "leading effect" thereof on the gun bores of firearms by coating each bullet, prior to loading, with a dry film lubricant composition, the lubricant composition including molybdenum disulfide dispered in a suitable carrier such as a synthetic resin dissolved in a volatile hydrocarbon solvent which evaporates on exposure to the atmosphere leaving a thin coating on each bullet. The lubricant coating has a further advantage in that it does not clog the mechanism of automated machines for loading bullets into shell casings therefor.
