    Abstract: A vehicular exterior door handle assembly includes a base portion that mounts at a door and a handle portion. The handle portion is movable relative to the base portion between a recessed position and an extended position. The handle portion includes a slider element and a flexible cover element that is coupled to the slider element and that is graspable by the user. An actuator is electrically operable to move the handle portion between the recessed position and the extended position by imparting rotational movement of a cam shaft relative to the base portion. As the cam shaft rotates relative to the base portion, a cam rotates with the cam shaft and engages the slider element, which moves laterally relative to the base portion according to rotation of the cam to move the handle portion between the recessed position and the extended position.

The mirror head includes a mirror reflective element. With the vehicular interior rearview mirror assembly mounted at the interior portion of the interior cabin, the mirror head is adjustable by a driver of the vehicle to set a rearward view for the driver. A dampening element is disposed between the socket and structure of the mirror head. With the vehicular interior rearview mirror assembly mounted at the interior portion of the interior cabin, the dampening element at least partially attenuates vibrations from transferring from the mounting structure to the mirror head.

    Abstract: A vehicular interior rearview mirror assembly includes a mirror head accommodating a mirror reflective element. The mirror head is adjustable by a driver of a vehicle to set a rearward view for the driver. The mirror reflective element has a single glass substrate, with a second planar surface opposite and parallel to a first planar surface and separated by a thickness of the single glass substrate. The mirror head accommodates a video display screen that is electrically operable to display video images for viewing by the driver through a mirror reflector disposed at the single glass substrate. An adjustment mechanism that is operable to adjust the mirror head between a mirror mode orientation and a display mode orientation. Responsive to the mirror head being adjusted to the display mode orientation, the video display screen is automatically electrically operated to display video images representative of the rearward view.

    Abstract: A vehicular charge port closure system includes a cover panel and an actuator that is electrically operable to move the cover panel between a closed position and an opened position. The actuator includes a motor operable to drive an input gear of a gear train, an output element coupled to the cover panel and a clutch element coupled to the output element and to an output gear of the gear train. The output element moves together and in tandem with the cover panel. The motor, when operated, drives the input gear to drive the output gear and drive the clutch element to impart movement of the output element and the cover panel. The clutch element, when the cover panel is manually moved, decouples the output element from the output gear and manual movement of the cover panel does not impart movement of the gear train.
