Abstract: A multipurpose corckscrew has a main body, a helical screw connected with the main body and introducible into a cork to be removed, an arm provided with an end tab and connected with the main body, a guide connecting the arm with the main body so that the arm is displaceable on the guide between a rear position and a forward position, means keeping the arm in the forward position, and elastic means pushing the arm toward the rear position.

Abstract: This corkscrew consists of a main body (1) fitted to a foldable blade (7) to open bottles, a helicoidal screw (2) and a guide (4) over which is fitted a detachable arm (3) having an end nail (3a) providing a point of support over the bottle neck during uncorking. The arm (3) may be placed, with the aid of a curved retainer (5) and helicoidal spring (6), in a front or rear position.

Abstract: A manually operated corkscrew for removing a stopper from a mouth of a bottle is described. The corkscrew includes a body and a support arm, with an edge, pivotally connected to the body. A ringlet, for removable insertion into the stopper, is pivotally connected to the body adjacent to where the body and support arm are pivotally connected. A mechanism, providing at least two intermediate and graduated points along the edge of the support arm for engagement with the mouth of the bottle to permit removal of the stopper without having to further insert the ringlet into the stopper is also provided.

Abstract: An improved corkscrew having a main body or lever (1), whose intermediate section has a shaft (2) on which a helicoidal thread (3) swings and in whose end there is another shaft (7) by which a second ribbed arm (8) swings, having on its two sides two grooves (12) opposite to each other, along which the two extensions of the shaft (7) run, with several locking points.

Abstract: A manually operated corkscrew is disclosed with a substantially U-shaped body having first and second ends. A rack with teeth is moveable within the body. The rack has first and second ends and is biased to move toward the second end of the body. Two symmetrical wings are provided on the second end of the rack with an extension spike mounted therebetween. A handle, pivotally attached at a pivot to the body adjacent to the first end of the body also has an axis joint disposed adjacent to the pivot. A ratchet claw, with a claw end, is pivotally disposed on the axis joint and biased so that the claw end engages the teeth on the rack. The handle acts as a first-class lever when activated about the pivot to gradually push the rack toward the first end of the body through progressive engagement between the ratchet claw and the teeth on the rack.

Abstract: A corkscrew has a body having a central part and an end part, a helix provided at the central part of the body, an end arm provided on the end part of the body, the end arm having an end provided with a first fulcrum and an internal medium part provided with a mechanism for forming an intermediate auxiliary fulcrum under the action of a manual drive of a user to facilitate a drawing action on a cork in which the helix has been introduced.
