The method comprises: receiving an image depicting the condition; processing (306) and adapting the image to a standardized model; transferring (308) the processed image to an analysis module (108); receiving a quantified measure of the condition from the analysis module (108); calculating (312) a measurement score based on the quantified measure, the measurement score describing a state of the condition; transferring (320) historical values of the measurement score, the calculated measurement score, and personal information about the user as input to an advice module (114), which provides rules for correlating input to advice for treatment of the condition; processing (322) the received input in order to automatically determine appropriate advice for treatment of the condition; and transferring (324) the determined advice to an application for presenting the determined advice to a user.

Abstract: A software tool and a method are intended for developing a service associated with a product with at least one position-coded functional area. A digital pen which detects a position on the product is caused, when using the service, to initiate in a processing unit an event which uses the position recorded by the pen. The software tool comprises a program module with instructions corresponding to the steps of creating a program object (204, 205) which is intended for the processing unit and which, on receipt of a data set from the pen, automatically generates a data structure (206) by extracting data items from the data set and by matching the extracted data items against a filter object (202) which contains information about the positions within each functional area on the product, whereby the data structure (206) enables sorting of at least some of the data items by functional area and implementing of the event associated therewith.

Abstract: A method and means for controlling transmission of non real-time critical messages between communication stations in a telecommunication system are disclosed. Associated with the message is an information block which comprise information about when the message is to be transmitted, as well as information regarding actions to perform in an event of failed transmission. An inventive method comprises steps that give the user flexibility in terms of interaction with the control of message transmission. Interrupted message transfer can be automatically resumed or re-scheduled on demand from the user.

Abstract: A telecommunication apparatus (10) has a radio interface (24, 43), a controller (44), a memory (45), an input device (46) and an output device (47). The controller provides a man-machine interface (48) to a user (49) through the input and output devices. The memory has a phonebook (40-42), which is accessed through the man-machine interface and stores a plurality of phonebook entries, where each entry represents a respective subscriber and an associated telephone number. For at least one of the phonebook entries, the phonebook (40-42) is capable of storing information (42) about an operational status of a respective subscriber. The controller (44) updates the operational status information of the at least one phonebook entry in response to status data, which are received through the radio interface (24, 43).
