  • Patent number: 8465309
Abstract: A detection switch for detecting when a card is inserted in to a connector. The detection switch includes a housing, a shell, a card receiving passageway, and a detection switch. The shell is disposed on and covers the housing. The card receiving passageway is arranged between the housing and the shell. The detection switch detects when the card is inserted into the card receiving passageway and disposed along a side of the card connector. The detection switch includes a fixed contact secured to the housing, and a movable contact extending from the shell and configured to (1) contact the fixed contact when the card is not inserted in the card receiving passageway and (2) release from contact with the fixed contact when the card is inserted into the card receiving passageway.

  • Publication number: 20100281910
Abstract: The present invention relates to a door (10) for a cold storage device such as a refrigerator or freezer. The door comprises a frame (12) and a pane (14) fitted to the frame. The door is characterized by at least one light emitting diode (LED) (16) arranged such that heat generated by the LED(s) during operation of the LED(s) is conducted to the pane to reduce moisture-forming on the pane. The present invention also relates to a cold storage device (24), such as a refrigerator or freezer, comprising such a door.

  • Publication number: 20090296383
Abstract: An illumination system for illuminating an object (1) arranged in the vicinity of the illumination system. The illumination system comprises a plurality of light emitters (R, G, B) arranged along a line for emitting light substantially away from the object. A complex-shape reflector (11) is arranged in the vicinity of the plurality of light emitters for reflecting light emitted by the plurality of light emitters towards the object. In operation, light emitted by the plurality of light emitters only reaches the object via the complex-shape reflector. The complex-shape reflector is designed to obtain a substantially homogenous illumination of the object. Preferably, a characteristic dimension dle of the light emitters and a distance der between the light emitters and the complex-shape reflector meet the following relation: Formula (I).

  • Publication number: 20090002987
Abstract: The invention relates to a collimation arrangement (1, 2, 3, 4) for collimating light emitted by at least one light emitting diode (12, 14) arranged on a planar base (16). The collimation arrangement (1, 2, 3, 4) comprising a collimator (20, 22, 24) and a set of reflective surfaces (50, 52). The collimator comprises a light-ingress window (28, 30) for admitting light emitted by the at least one light emitting diode into the collimator (20, 22, 24), a light-egress window (32, 34) for emitting the light from the collimator (20, 22, 24), and comprises a first edge surface (36), a second edge surface (38), a third edge surface (40, 42, 44) and a fourth edge surface (46, 48).
