  • Patent number: 11992020
Abstract: A method of determining a measure of gaping in a fish fillet item, involves the steps of obtaining three-dimensional profile data of a first area of the fish fillet item, obtaining optical imaging data of a second area of the fish fillet item, wherein the first area and the second area are overlapping at least within an overlap area; and determining the measure of gaping in the fish fillet item based on the three-dimensional profile data within the overlap area and the optical imaging data within the overlap area.

  • Publication number: 20240037771
Abstract: A method and a system for determining a weight estimate of food items include receiving an image of an outer surface of a food item. The image having a plurality of pixels each having a measure. By the measure of the pixels, a surface content of a first tissue which is distinct from a second tissue is identified. The surface content is translated into a volume content and a density parameter is recorded. An estimate of the weight is determined based on the volume content, the density parameter, and volume data identifying the volume of the food item.

  • Publication number: 20240000088
Abstract: A method and a system for automatically tracking a food item in a processing facility involves a food item that is received in a check-in position where a check-in image is captured, and a unique identification insignia, UII is generated based on the check-in image. The food item is handled and moved to a check-out position where a check-out image is captured. To facilitate automatic tracking of the food items, a recognition process is carried out to establish if a check-out image can be assigned to the created UII, and a data-record is, in that case, generated with the recognized UII.

  • Patent number: 11388988
Abstract: A lifting table including a platform having a polygonal contour and including an upper and a lower face, a lifting mechanism and a base. The lifting mechanism connected to the table top and including an actuator for raising and lowering the table top. The base configured for supporting the lifting mechanism. Two side members positioned along two adjoining sides of the table top and a switch element positioned below the upper face, wherein the side members are connected to the table top below the upper face allowing the side members to be moved between a first position, wherein the frame members are disengaged from the switch element and a second position where the side members activate the switch element, hereby preventing displacement of the table top relative to the base. Ends of the side members are arranged with a distance in between each other.

  • Publication number: 20210383145
Abstract: A food processing device includes a conveyor forming a conveyor surface on which a food object can be conveyed in a conveying direction with a lower food surface against the conveyor surface and with an upper food surface facing away from the conveyor surface. An imaging system can analyze a field of interest on the upper food surface. The imaging system comprises a light source, a camera, and a processor. The light source and the camera are located relative to each other such that an intensity of the incident light on the field of interest do not change or do not change noticeably if the distance between the conveyor surface and the field of interest increases or decreases.

  • Patent number: 7024941
Abstract: For use in the monitoring of a tubular member (1) having at least a helically wound reinforcement layer (10), the invention provides a method of mounting a sensor arrangement (17, 18), wherein the reinforcement layer is formed with a groove (16) which is filled with a liquid material (19), such as an epoxy type, and wherein the sensor arrangement is passed into the liquid material by means of a pressure applied by a roller prior to the solidification of the liquid material. In a preferred embodiment, the groove is formed in the reinforcement layer before this is helically wound on the tubular member. Hereby, the sensor arrangement is arranged well-protected without any risk of damage, which may e.g. occur if the tubular member is of the unbonded type, where the reinforcement layer may consist of two layers that may move relative to each other.

  • Publication number: 20030131898
Abstract: By a method for the assembly of two carcass ends (1, 3), each of which consists of common, wound profiles, the end areas of the carcass pipes' common profiles are fixed. The fixing is carried out by a punctiform deformation process, which can expediently be effected by a punching process, riveting process or screw process. After the fixing, the two carcass ends are screwed into each other. In this way a fixing and a screw connection can be effected, where there is no risk of changes in the material of which the carcass pipe consists, such as can arise e.g. if a welding process is used. Especially with the punching process, it is further achieved that there is no risk that galvanic corrosion can arise. The method is especially applicable for the assembly of e.g. end lengths of new carcass pipes, and for the repair of a carcass pipe where a piece of the carcass pipe must be removed.
