The lighting arraignment has a display surface for displaying image content, at least two luminaires in a lighting environment of the display surface and a control unit. The luminaires radiate light in accordance with at least one lighting parameter. In the control unit, each luminaire is assigned part of the display surface as an evaluation region and a mapping rule. The mapping rule assigns image content of the evaluation region values of the lighting parameters. The control unit, for each of the luminaires, assigns the image content of its evaluation region values of its lighting parameters using the mapping rule and actuates the luminaires with the values with regard to the assigned lighting parameters. A passenger cabin having the lighting arrangement and a method for actuating the luminaires are also provided.
