Abstract: The present invention relates to the use of hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF) inhibitors in cancer immunotherapy. Specifically, the disclosure provides methods of treating a cancer in a subject in need of cancer immunotherapy, comprising administering a HIF-1a inhibitor to the subject and a second cancer immunotherapeutic agent to the subject, wherein the HIF-1a inhibitor comprising echinomycin, and wherein the second cancer immunotherapeutic agent comprising an anti-CTLA-4 antibody including Ipilimumab or Tremelimumab.

Abstract: Methods and systems for identifying PIM sources for an antenna under test (AUT) are provided, where the AUT is installed in a desired operating environment. The system comprises: a PIM analyser, connected to the AUT for applying first and second RF stimulus signals to an input port of the AUT; and a portable RF emitter, configured to apply a third RF stimulus signal to suspected external PIM sources. The PIM analyser is configured to measuring one or more characteristics of PIM signals received by the AUT generated by the first, second and third RF stimulus signals.

Abstract: Aspects of the present invention are directed to a child-resistant container comprising a lid and a vial. The lid has a side wall, an inner surface and a lid cover. The lid cover includes a top, a bottom, and a front surface and at least two lid hooks protruding from the bottom surface. The vial contains an opening accessing a cavity and a rim extending around at least a portion of the opening, the rim having at least two moveable tabs partially affixed to the rim and movable about a pivot point. The movable tabs contain tab hooks above the pivot point for engaging with the lid hooks to secure the lid cover to the vial. The moveable tabs are displaceable outwardly away from the lid to disengage the tab hooks from the lid hooks by pressing inwardly on the moveable tabs below the pivot point.

Abstract: A method of managing a reservoir of water having a recirculating arrangement for recirculating water at frequent time intervals is disclosed. The method includes starting a productive recirculation of water within the reservoir by means of the recirculating pump, and sensing control parameter/s relating to the quality of water that are selected from: a level of disinfectant, a pH level, a water turbidity level, or a biological count level. The productive recirculation of water by the recirculating pump is continued until each sensed control parameter has reached its target level in the water. In a power saving management mode the productive recirculation of water by the recirculating arrangement is stopped when each sensed control parameter has reached its target level. Instead in a minimum run time mode the productive recirculation is only stopped when this minimum run time has been completed and each sensed control parameter has reached its target level.

Abstract: A method of printing a document includes receiving a document at a printer; determining that a file format of the document is not supported by the printer; delivering the document to a document conversion server that is remote from, but coupled to, the printer; converting the document into a converted file format that is supported by the printer using the document conversion server; and delivering the document in the converted file format to the printer.

When displayed, the bar code representation does not have a same appearance as the bar code but is a placeholder for the bar code in the document.

Abstract: A method of processing a page for printing includes processing each component of the page, or a portion of the page, into a display list. A plurality of element streams is generated from at least a portion of the display list. Each component of the element streams is identified as being an invariant component or a varying component. For each invariant component, it is determined whether that invariant component has been serialized into at least one of the element streams and, if not, the invariant component is serialized into at least one of the element streams and stored.

Abstract: A method of providing backward compatibility for a newer version of a page description language to a system comprising a computer and a printer coupled to the computer, where the printer is configured and arranged for operation with an earlier version of the page description language and has not been updated for the newer version of the page description language, includes providing an updated printer driver with a component that incorporates information about the printer to convert a file in the newer version of the page description language into a file in the earlier version of the page description language while substantially retaining a same visual appearance of the file when printed and compared to the file printed by a printer configured and arranged to print the file using the newer version of the page description language. The updated printer driver is stored on the computer.

Abstract: A method for using a page description language to electronically express colored patches on the border of contract proofs, such that a user can quickly and easily evaluate whether the color of prints produced using a color printer are correct. The verification is performed by visually comparing the test patches added to a print with color patches in publicly available standard color sample swatches.

Abstract: A system for generating a proof print of an image for printing on media includes a processor that is arranged to generate a control strip for the print proof. The size and placement of the control strip are dynamically selectable and adjustable by the processor based, at least in part, on size of the media, size of the image, and placement of the image on the media.
