  • Publication number: 20240063080
Abstract: A semiconductor power module comprises a metal substrate structure with a metal top layer, a metal bottom layer, and a dielectric layer in between. A housing with a top wall and side walls is coupled to the metal substrate structure. With respect to a stacking direction, there is a predetermined distance between a lower surface of the top wall and an upper surface of the metal top layer adjacent to the side walls. At least one terminal is arranged inside the housing, and is coupled to the lower surface of the top wall and to the upper surface of the metal top layer. With respect to the stacking direction, a length of the terminal is configured in coordination with the distance, such that due to the terminal, the metal substrate structure is bent in a predetermined manner and comprises a convex shape in interaction with the housing and the terminal.

  • Publication number: 20210079429
Abstract: A multi-stage anaerobic digester is designed to treat a high solids, stackable feedstock. The system may also receive a pumpable feedstock such as a slurry or sludge. In a first stage, the digestate circulates in one direction around a raceway such that the digestate may pass a feed inlet multiple times before leaving the first tank. An optional side stream loop withdraws fibrous material from near the top of the raceway and return digestate with chopped fibers, preferably lower and further along the raceway. An outlet from the raceway located near, but upstream of, the feed inlet discharges partially digested substrate to a second stage, which is operated as a stirred tank reactor. The two stages may be provided in a single tank with an internal wall separating a ring shaped outer portion from a cylindrical inner portion. The digester may be operated in a thermophilic temperature range.

  • Publication number: 20180014997
Abstract: A device serves for transferring a fluid between a storage container and at least one further container for use. Said transfer device comprises a sealing section by means of which a main part of the transfer device sealingly rests on the storage container. A hollow-needle assembly comprises a hollow needle which can be moved between a retracted resting position and a deployed connecting position, the assembly, in the connecting position, providing a fluid connecting channel between the storage container and the transfer device. The hollow-needle assembly can be moved by means of a pressure actuating element. During said movement, the pressure actuating element is primarily connected to the sleeve of the hollow needle so as to be resistant to shear forces. A guiding device serves to axially guide the pressure actuating element on the main part. Said guiding device has at least one guiding pin. Said guiding pin slides in at least one associated guiding groove during movement.

  • Publication number: 20180000690
Abstract: An apparatus for transferring a liquid between a storage container and at least one further use container has a storage-container sealing portion for leaktight abutment of a main body of the transfer apparatus against the storage container. A hollow-needle assembly has a hollow needle. The hollow-needle assembly can be displaced in a linear manner along a movement axis relative to the main body by means of a gear mechanism between a retracted rest position and an extended connecting position. In the latter, the hollow needle creates a liquid connecting duct between the storage container and the transfer apparatus. A connecting portion serves to connect the transfer apparatus to the use container in a leaktight manner. A rotary-actuation element is operatively connected to the hollow-needle assembly via the gear mechanism. The gear mechanism has a driver ring that is mounted in the main body axially and so as to be rotatable about the movement axis.

  • Publication number: 20170367931
Abstract: A hollow-needle assembly is part of a transfer apparatus that serves for transferring a liquid between a storage container and a further use container. The hollow-needle assembly has a hollow needle having a pointed needle end. A liquid duct for transporting liquid through the hollow needle and out of the latter leads out via at least one liquid-duct opening in the region of the free needle end. An aeration gas duct that likewise leads out via a gas-duct opening in the region of the free needle end serves for transporting gas through the hollow-needle assembly. Duct paths of the at least one liquid duct and of the at least one aeration gas duct extend separately from one another. The ducts lead out adjacently to one another axially along the hollow needle and in a manner offset from one another in the circumferential direction.

  • Patent number: 9291685
Abstract: A device for evaluating a magnetic field with an integrated circuit with a magnetic field sensor is provided, which has a first connection, a second connection, and a third connection led out from the housing. A signal conditioning circuit is connected to the magnetic field sensor. A control circuit generates a control signal for controlling the signal conditioning circuit based on a detected transmission signal with a detection circuit for detecting the transmission signal. The signal conditioning circuit generates an analog signal based on a sensor signal and based on the control signal. An evaluation circuit evaluates the analog signal and compares the analog signal to a default value to adjust the signal conditioning circuit via the digital transmission signal such that the analog signal corresponds to the default value.

  • Patent number: 8790353
Abstract: The device for mechanical lithotripsy and removal of stones that form in the bile duct or urinary system has a stone collection basket at a distal end of a tube and two actuators at the proximal end of the tube. A cable runs through the tube and connects each actuator to the basket. The actuators are screw drives and form a common structural unit that is concentric to the tube and the cable. One actuator controls the opening and closing of the basket while the other actuator controls the force transmitted through the cable to the basket to allow for crushing of the stone in the basket.

  • Patent number: 8249095
Abstract: Disclosed is a method and device for transmitting data between at least two transmitters and a receiver which are connected to a bus. A synchronization signal is applied to the bus and a number of data volume counters corresponding to the number of transmitters reduced by one is set to a predefined initial value. A first transmitter transmits in the form of data elements a predefined data volume allocated to the transmitter over the bus to the receiver. The data volume values of the other transmitters are selected so that only one transmitter at any given time simultaneously transmits on the bus.

  • Patent number: 7975191
Abstract: A method and circuitry for checking the programming (P) and deletion (L) operations of memory cells (5) in a nonvolatile memory device (1). Parallel to the programming (P) or deletion (L) operations of the actual memory cells (5) the respective programming or deletion process is carried out on at least one similar checking cell (4.1, 4.2, 4.3), with the programming (P) or deletion (L) operations being less favorable by a defined extent than the programming (P) or deletion (L) operations of the actual memory cells (5). From the content of the checking cell (4.1, 4.2, 4.3) an evaluation device (6) determines whether the programming (P) or deletion (L) operation was successful or not, and a corresponding output signal (ak) indicative thereof is produced.
