Abstract: A screen includes a frame and a panel coupled to the frame. The frame includes a first frame member having a first longitudinal axis, a first opening extending therethrough along the first longitudinal axis, and an aperture extending along an axis that intersects the first longitudinal axis, a second frame member having a second longitudinal axis and a second opening extending therethrough along the second longitudinal axis, and a connecting member coupled between the first frame member and the second frame member. The connecting member has a first portion that is received within the first opening and having a plate movable via a fastener to clamp the plate against the first frame member. The first fastener is accessible through the aperture. The connecting member also includes a second portion that is received in the second opening.

The structure may have a displaceable flap or the like through which a target zone of the surface may be accessed. The displaceable flap or the like may carry cooling medium.

Abstract: A windscreen heater is used for heating a windscreen prior to and/or during resin repair. The heated windscreen promotes the flow of resin to repair the windscreen. The device is mounted to the windscreen and has a port enabling viewing of a target zone of the windscreen. A heater element is positioned in the region of the port in order to effect heating of the windscreen.
