  • Patent number: 11216019
Abstract: A thermostat for a transmission oil circuit has a thermostat inlet, a thermostat outlet, and a bypass channel, which fluidically connects the thermostat inlet to the thermostat outlet. A circuit inlet and a circuit outlet are provided for coupling to a cooler. A control element and a pressure loss element are accommodated in the interior of the thermostat housing. The pressure loss element is arranged in the bypass channel, and the control element is arranged between the thermostat inlet and the circuit inlet or the circuit outlet and the thermostat outlet. The thermostat can be connected directly to a housing of the transmission.

  • Patent number: 6684937
Abstract: A description is given of a module carrier for various diverse heat exchangers for a motor vehicle engine, which comprises a supporting frame, to which the coolant/air cooler and at least one air-conditioning condenser is fitted. The supporting frame comprises a lower part with a crossmember 2 as base and two side parts 3, 4 projecting vertically therefrom, to define upwardly open compartments 6, 7, 6′, 7′ in the lower part for the insertion of at least the coolant/air cooler and the air-conditioning condenser 9. These upwardly open compartments are closed off by an upper support 5, which interconnects the free ends of the side parts 3, 4 to form the supporting frame and which secures the inserted heat exchangers 8, 9 in their positions.

  • Patent number: 6053131
Abstract: A heat exchanger for liquid heat exchange media for alternate valve-controlled heating or cooling of one of the liquids, to achieve high-quality regulation of a valve device and small temperature differentials between the inlet and outlet of the heat exchange means that serves for heating and cooling. A temperature sensor is provided in the outlet of the heat exchanger for the first liquid or heat exchange means that serves for heating and cooling. The sensor controls and/or regulates separate valves located in a hot inlet and a cold inlet of the first liquid or of the first heat exchange means in the valve device.

  • Patent number: 4773496
Abstract: In a radiator fastening arrangement for internal combustion engines with upper and/or lower brackets between body- and radiator-support places and elastic bearing elements between the brackets and the radiator-support places a cost-favorable, corrosion-secure and simply installable construction is provided in which the body support places consist of support surfaces, support edges and/or support apertures in body wall parts and/or body bearers and the brackets consist of one-piece plastic molded parts which elastically prestressed and detent-like connected in a three-point support with two body-support places each and a single radiator support place each. A socket-shaped mounting device for a buffer-shaped bearing element secured at the radiator is formed-on at the lower brackets. The two body support places at the brackets are matched to the shape of the support places for a positionally safe and detent-like engagement.
