  • Publication number: 20250152830
Abstract: A smart injection system includes at least one mobile device and at least one injection device with electronics that can be used by a user. The mobile device is configured to wirelessly receive information regarding a glycemic state of the user, use this information to automatically calculate medication doses to be administered, and to transmit the calculated doses to the injection device.

  • Publication number: 20240123150
Abstract: An autoinjector for dispensing a liquid product, particularly a drug, comprising: an electronic module with a sensor configured to measure the axial movement of a signal element (11) from a position at the start of the dispensing, wherein the signal element (11) is slaved in the dispensing direction, to a position at the end of the dispensing, wherein the signal element (11) strikes the signal stop (12a).

  • Publication number: 20230125644
Abstract: A delivery device for administering a drug includes a housing, a reservoir and a drive device with a movable piston rod. The piston rod is guided through an aperture in an inner or outer wall of the housing. The aperture is sealed but allows the piston rod to move. The shape of the circumference of the cross-section of the piston rod is approximately a non-trivial curve of constant width.

  • Publication number: 20230021831
Abstract: An autoinjector includes a housing, a product container, a torsion spring, a drive element, and a propulsion element. In order to discharge liquid out of the product container, the torsion spring rotates the drive element, and the rotating drive element produces a propulsive movement of the propulsion element and of a piston in the product container. A rotation sensor is configured for an alternating continuous detection of at least two rotational positions per revolution of the drive element during the discharge process, and a processor unit is configured for determining the axial position of the piston in the product container from the detected rotational positions.

  • Patent number: 9050409
Abstract: A patient device includes a case and a user interface for interaction between a patient and the patient device. The case may include a projection unit which projects information onto a surface separate from the case. The user interface may include a display unit for displaying information relating to the patient device integrated into the case and an additional display unit for displaying information relating to the patient device, which is external to the case. The externally provided display unit may be coupled to the case such that it can be at least one of folded, tilted, pulled out or unrolled relative to the case.
