  • Publication number: 20240123757
Abstract: A laminate with a decorative layer over an electrical functional layer such as a touch sensor panel, which provides for example a touchpad functionality, as well as a production method for it. It is possible for the first time to perform an individualization of prefabricated laminates with functionality such as touch functionality of a touch sensor in an uncomplicated manner. This is achieved by supplementing a functional laminate with a laser protective layer between the electrical functional layer and a decorative layer which can be lasered and written on with simple measures.

  • Publication number: 20200167169
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for resetting a management hardware component of a computer system. A request for resetting the management hardware component is received via a running host operating system of the computer system and a reset signal is generated. The reset signal causes the management hardware component to be reset. Also described is a computer system which comprises a host operating system and such management hardware component and is adapted to perform such a method.

  • Publication number: 20200044949
Abstract: A system and method using a real-time data stream to make recommendations to users also predicts the future state of that data. If the data is interrupted or becomes unreliable, the predictions are used to make the recommendations in question.

  • Patent number: 9817044
Abstract: A method of determining a substitute value for a primary-side power consumption of a power supply unit includes recording a first measured value for a primary-side power consumption over a measurement period, repeatedly recording a second measured value for at least one secondary-side output power at first intervals of time, the first interval of time being shorter than the measurement period, determining an efficiency of the power supply unit on the basis of the first measured value and at least one second measured value, and calculating a substitute value for the primary-side power consumption on the basis of the efficiency determined in the determination step and at least one recorded second measured value.

  • Patent number: 9772961
Abstract: A computer system includes a system component with at least one expansion bus and at least one processor coupled to the at least one expansion bus and executes program code of at least one operating system. The computer system also includes a system management module arranged on the system component and at least one memory. The system management module is coupled to the at least one expansion bus and the at least one expansion bus allows direct access to the at least one memory. The system management module has an interface that implements a protocol stack having a bidirectional transport layer used to provide a predetermined shared memory area of the at least one memory to interchange data with the operating system.

  • Patent number: 4039988
Abstract: A deflection coil for a cathode ray tube having spaced apart first and second coil sections with longitudinally extending winding elements, wherein said elements each define a first portion formed with a given winding density and a second end portion thereof being formed with a lesser winding density, said portions of given and lesser winding density of both coil sections being respectively arranged at corresponding ends of said coil.

  • Patent number: 3934169
Abstract: In a picture display tubes having deflection angles of 110.degree. and more the conical central part near the transition to the neck has a substantially flat variation perpendicular to the tube axis. As a result of this an accurate positioning of the deflection device on the display tube is seriously hampered. This problem is solved by centering members which are present on the conical central part and which cooperate in a self-centering manner with centering members forming part of the supporting cage of the deflection device. The position of the deflection device in the axial direction is accurately fixed by abutment members forming part of the supporting cage in co-operation with abutment surfaces forming part of the envelope of the tube.
