  • Patent number: 11456569
Abstract: A busway for power distribution to equipment positioned in information technology racks includes a plurality of locations in the busway suitably being configured to receive a plurality of detachably engageable taps. The busway, which are external to the information technology racks, includes a plurality of segments, each of which are detachably engaged with one another and including at least one of the plurality of locations. The busway provides power to the information technology racks by respective taps, where each of the taps includes a respective electrical sensor that senses at least one of a voltage level and a current level. Each of the electrical sensors providers an output signal to a computing device.

  • Patent number: 11215650
Abstract: A phase aligned energy metering system includes a plurality of current sensors that provide a respective first signal indicating respective the current levels. A current module connected to the plurality of current sensors and processing the first signal with a stored current sensor error correction data to output a first corrected signal. A non- contact voltage providing a respective second signal indicating respective the voltage levels. The non-contact voltage sensor provides a second respective signal. A contact voltage sensor provides a respective third signal indicating respective the voltage levels. A voltage module receives the third respective signal indicating the respective voltage levels and processing the third signal with a stored voltage sensor error correction data to output a third corrected signal. An energy meter receives the first respective signal, the second respective signal, and the third respective signal, and determines a power level.

  • Patent number: 10705126
Abstract: A system for energy metering with temperature monitoring that includes a plurality of current sensors, suitable to sense a changing current in a respective power cable, that provide a respective first output. The energy metering system includes a support and current sensors interconnected to the support at spaced apart locations along the support. A temperature sensor that provides a second output and is interconnected to the support. The energy metering system receives the respective first output and the second output and determines characteristics of the energy system based upon the second output.

  • Patent number: 10274572
Abstract: A system for calibrating a power meter may include mechanically detachably electrically engaging a first power meter with a second power meter. The first power meter may receive a first current input signal representative of a current level in a first conductor to a load and receive a first voltage input signal representative of a voltage level in the first conductor, and determine a first power level based upon the first current input signal and the first voltage input signal. A second power meter may receive a second current input signal representative of the current level in the first conductor to the load from the first power meter, receive a second voltage input signal representative of the voltage level in the first conductor to the load from the first power meter, and determine a second power level based upon the second current input signal and the second voltage input signal.
