  • Patent number: 4565078
Abstract: A locking assembly for a gate locking system comprises a gate movable within opposed channeled guide tracks with one track and gate having aligned apertures. The lock assembly is mounted on the track over the aligned apertures and has a locking bolt slidably mounted within its housing for axial movement between a locking position extending through the track and gate apertures, and an unlocked position removed from the gate and track apertures. The bolt has a radially projecting shoulder on its outer surface between its inner and outer ends. A spring biases the bolt towards its unlocked position. A lug is movably mounted in the housing between a first position engaging the bolt and retaining the bolt in its locking position, and a second position disengaged from the bolt for releasing the bolt for axial movement within the housing.

  • Patent number: 4345635
Abstract: A rolling protective gate for store fronts or the like is formed of a series of horizontally-extending transparent slats interconnected and articulated by a series of horizontally-extending metal rods. The transparent slats and metal rods are elongated, and each extends the full width of the building front access opening in which the rolling gate is mounted. The transparent slats and metal rods are privotally interconnected by means of circular ribs extending along the top and bottom edges of each slat which are received within sockets formed in the metal rods. The entire rolling gate is formed of the connected slats and rods for easy assembly, and the elongated horizontal transparent slats provide ready visibility through the rolling gate when the latter is in its lowered position providing a security closure for the store front.

  • Patent number: 4345448
Abstract: A locking assembly for normally separable apertured structures which protect business fronts against burglary. The locking assembly includes a sturdy, straight pin which penetrates all apertures, and is part of a sturdy bracket which overlies a fixed standard or post. The arrangement is such as to permit a key operated locking device to lie flatly and directly upon the bracket so as to prevent removal of the bracket and its above mentioned pin. The overall arrangement is such as to guard against burglary by an unauthorized person using forceful tools, and to prevent access to the pin for the purpose of destroying or cutting it.
