  • Patent number: 8551588
Abstract: A resealable and disposable package assembly is described. The assembly includes a container and a multilayer cover laminate that are bonded to one another to initially seal the contents of the package. The package can then be easily opened by at least partially separating the cover laminate along a predesignated interface. The package can be reliably and effectively sealed by recontacting the previously separated cover portions to one another.

  • Patent number: 6942414
Abstract: A sheet protector includes a front panel and a back panel attached together to form a pocket and a margin. The pocket may have an opening extending along a top edge of the panels. The margin extends along a side of the pocket. The opening may extend a distance into the margin such that a width of the opening is greater than a width of the pocket. For example, the width of the opening may be at least about 2% greater than the width of the pocket. Alternatively, a sheet protector includes a sheet of material folded about a fold line to form the front panel and the back panel. The panels are welded together at a bottom weld line, an outer weld line located along one side, and at an inner weld line located in a spaced relationship from the outer weld line. A margin is defined between the outer and inner weld lines, and a pocket is defined between the panels and within the fold line, the bottom weld line, and the inner line, with an opening being defined along the top edges of the panels.

  • Publication number: 20030076536
Abstract: A binder includes both physical content and digital content. The physical content is printed on sheets retained by the binder, and the digital content is stored on a memory associated with the binder. The digital memory may be interfaced with a computerized device, such as a personal computer or a portable electronic device. The digital memory may be a portable memory device such as a memory card or a dedicated device incorporated within the binder. The digital content represents the physical content as accurately as possible so that when viewed on a computerized device with a display, the physical content is accurately represented. The digital content may be modified by a user with a computerized device, with the modified pages being subsequently printed out so that the physical content is replicated with the modified digital content.
