Patent number: 6435966Abstract: A harvesting machine having a dividing device for dividing granular material from stem- or stalk-like material, and a separating device connected downstream of the dividing device, in which there is a conveying unit for conveying the stream of material from the dividing device to the separating device. In order to satisfactorily discharge the stem- or stalk-like material from the conveying tines of the conveying unit, cleaning elements are provided for cleaning away the material being conveyed over the free ends of the conveying tines.Type: GrantFiled: April 27, 2000Date of Patent: August 20, 2002Assignee: Claas Selbstfahrende Erntemaschinen GmbHInventors: Franz Heidjann, Martin Dammann, Dirk Speckamp, Bodo Kühn, Walter Fögeling, Andreas Arnold

Patent number: 6129629Abstract: The present invention describes an intake zone (4a) for an axial separator (4) consisting of a rotor (6) that is configured as a cone in its front area, is tapered in the direction of the flow of materials and has a sleeve (12, 13, 16) or an intake zone for a similar axial flow threshing and separating device having at least one similar separating rotor (6) arranged downstream from a single or multi-cylinder threshing machine with a feed cylinder (3) connected thereto. The upper sleeve (12) of the intake zone (4a) has a semi-circular cross-section at the beginning of the rotor intake continuously running as far as the end of the intake zone (20) into an eccentric cross-section corresponding to the cross-section of the remaining upper sleeve.Type: GrantFiled: November 24, 1999Date of Patent: October 10, 2000Assignee: CLAAS Selbstfahrende Erntemaschinen GmbHInventors: Martin Dammann, Franz Heidjann, Bodo Kuhn

Patent number: 5469217Abstract: In an arrangement for converting an original picture signal representing a sequence of frames, each of which is composed of two interlaced fields, into a converted picture signal which has a double field frequency with respect to the original picture signal, is for doubling the field frequency, for the purpose of noise reduction, motion compensation and line flicker reduction, a memory arrangement (1, 2) provided for doubling the field frequency, which memory arrangement precedes a motion compensation arrangement (5) whose output signal is applied to a noise reduction arrangement (6), and a line flicker reduction arrangement (7) is provided which receives the output signals from the noise reduction arrangement (6) and the motion compensation arrangement (5), while the converted picture signal is obtained from the output signal of the noise reduction arrangement (6), the line flicker reduction arrangement (7) or the motion compensation arrangement (5), dependent on the position with respect to time of a fieldType: GrantFiled: October 28, 1993Date of Patent: November 21, 1995Assignee: U.S. Philips CorporationInventors: Achim Ibental, Martin Dammann

Patent number: 4251472Abstract: A carburetor for combustion engines with a mixing chamber in the carburetor housing, the mixing chamber being bounded downstream by a randomly actuated mixture throttle and upstream by an air throttle controlling the intake air cross section and actuated by the pressure prevailing in the mixing chamber. A bypass air duct discharges into the center of the mixing chamber and receives the fuel supply. A nozzle pin cooperates with the air throttle and controls the cross section of a fuel jet. Downstream of this jet is another fuel jet whose cross section is controllable as a function of engine operating parameters by means of an analog magnet. The fuel jet controlled by the analog magnet may be the fuel outlet in the bypass air duct, and may be controlled by a nozzle pin through a lever via the analog magnet which is a plunger system. The second fuel jet may be located in a bypass air duct and its cross section may also be controlled by an analog magnet as a function of engine operating parameters.Type: GrantFiled: May 11, 1979Date of Patent: February 17, 1981Assignee: Pierburg GmbH & Co.
