  • Publication number: 20150365383
Abstract: A resource management client apparatus (102) comprises an interface to a wide area network (WAN, 106) facilitating connection to a resource management server (104), and at least one communications interface (116, 118) configured to communicate with a plurality of resource monitoring and control devices (120, 122) associated with the resource management client apparatus (102). A secure key interface (128) is configured to receive an electronic access device (130) that securely stores information including at least a unique identifier, resource management server connection data, and one or more encryption keys for encrypting information transmitted between the resource management client apparatus (102) and the resource management server (104). The resource management client apparatus (102) establishes a connection to the resource management server (104) via the WAN (106), using the resource management server connection data stored in the electronic access device (130).

  • Publication number: 20130173807
Abstract: A resource management client apparatus (client, 102) comprises an interface to a wide area network (WAN, 106) facilitating connection to a resource management server (server, 104), and at least one communications interface (116, 118) to communicate with a plurality of associated resource monitoring and control devices (devices, 120, 122). A secure key interface (128) to receive an electronic access device (130) that securely stores information including at least a unique identifier, server connection data, and one or more encryption keys for encrypting information transmitted between the client (102) and the server (104). The client (102) establishes a connection to the server (104) via the WAN (106), using the server connection data stored in the electronic access device (130), receives status messages from the devices (120, 122), processes received status messages, and encrypts and transmits corresponding status information of the devices (120, 122) to the server (104) via the WAN (106).

  • Publication number: 20070102094
Abstract: A method for arranging a thermoplastic insert unit (2) in a thermoplastic sandwich product (1) having at least one planar or virtually planar section by the application of ultrasonic energy (6, 8). A thermoplastic sandwich product (1) comprises at least one fibre-reinforced thermoplastic covering layer (7) and a thermoplastic core which is not completely solid (8). Examples of thermoplastic sandwich products include: a flat plate, a slightly curved product, a folded product, etc. The production of a recess in the surface of the thermoplastic sandwich product, with the plastic insert unit being welded into the recess.

  • Publication number: 20050253300
Abstract: A method of producing a three-dimensional article having a sandwich structure comprises a deforming step of a mainly flat assembly of a core layer of a thermoplastic foam and at least one cover layer of a fiber reinforced thermoplastic synthetic material into a three-dimensional article. The thermoplastic foam of the core layer is an anisotropic foam. The starting materials are selected in such a way that the glass transition temperature of the starting material of the core layer is higher than the glass transition temperature of the synthetic material of the cover layer.
