  • Publication number: 20250091568
Abstract: A system for switching an electric vehicle between vehicle operating states includes a base, a shifter handle, actuators, and a controller. The shifter handle includes a shaft. The actuators are coupled to the shaft. The controller is configured to determine a selected shifter operating mode from among shifter operating modes; generate, in response to the selected shifter operating mode being a first shifter operating mode, a first set of output signals to the actuators to control the actuators to permit movement of the shifter handle in a first predetermined virtual pathway; generate, in response to the selected shifter operating mode being a second shifter operating mode, a second set of output signals to the actuators to control the actuators to permit movement of the shifter handle in a second predetermined virtual pathway; and switch the electric vehicle between the vehicle operating states based on movement of the shaft.

  • Publication number: 20250092947
Abstract: A shifter assembly for an electric vehicle includes a base, a shifter handle, and a plurality of actuators. The base defines an opening. The shifter handle extends through the opening of the base and is pivotably coupled to the base. Each actuator of the plurality of actuators are pivotably coupled to the base at a first end and pivotably coupled to the shifter handle at a second end that is opposite the first end. The plurality of actuators are configured to permit movement of the shifter handle relative to the base in a predetermined virtual pathway and inhibit movement of the shifter handle relative to the base outside the predetermined virtual path.

  • Publication number: 20250018870
Abstract: A vehicle seating assembly comprising a seat back, a seat base that is pivotable between a raised position and a lowered seating position, a storage compartment located under the seat when the seat is in the lowered seating position, and a first drawer slidably disposed within the storage compartment and accessible via a first lateral side of the vehicle seating assembly, where the first drawer includes a first step surface on a top side thereof configured to support a user when the first drawer is in an open position.

  • Patent number: 12091097
Abstract: A vehicle assembly includes, among other things, a cab back assembly having a first panel and a second panel. The first panel is pivotably coupled to a cab of a vehicle. The second panel is pivotably coupled to the first panel. A method of configuring a cab back includes selectively pivoting a first panel of a cab back assembly relative to a cab of a vehicle. The first panel is pivotably coupled to a cab of the vehicle and is configured to pivot relative to the cab about a first axis. The method further includes selectively pivoting a second panel of the cab back assembly relative to the first panel. The second panel is pivotably coupled to the first panel and is configured to pivot relative to the first panel about a second axis that is spaced from the first axis.

  • Patent number: 11565645
Abstract: A vehicle assembly includes, among other things, a cab back panel assembly pivotably coupled to a cab of a vehicle, and a sill assembly that includes a portion of a securing system. The sill assembly is pivotably coupled to the vehicle. The sill assembly is pivotable back and forth between a latching position where the cab back panel assembly can engage the portion of the sill assembly and a stowed position.
