  • Patent number: 11386086
Abstract: A DBMS query-optimization module receives a corpus of training data that contains data-access requests, such as SQL queries. Each request specifies data to be accessed but does not specify a query plan that the database should use to generate the requested data. The module identifies, in each received request, parameters, such as join methods and access methods, that can vary among query plans; and variables that cannot be assigned values until the query is actually processed. The system generates a set of queries, each of which implements a distinct query plan, that specify every viable permutation of values of the parameters and of the variables. The generated queries are added to the received corpus, which is forwarded to a machine-learning module in order to train the query-optimizer to select query plans that incur the lowest resource costs when servicing a particular type of query.

  • Patent number: 7834074
Abstract: Plasticizing system usable for the plasticizing of a diene rubber composition. The plasticizing system is based on an MES or TDAE oil and a polylimonene resin. The rubber composition has an improved resistance to abrasion and to cuts, said composition being based on at least a diene elastomer, a reinforcing filler, a cross-linking system and a plasticizing system comprising between 5 and 35 phr of an MES or TDAE oil, and between 5 and 35 phr of a polylimonene resin (phr=parts by weight per hundred of elastomer). Advantageously, this plasticizing system furthermore comprises an unsaturated (C12-C22) fatty acid triester of glycerol, preferably a glycerol trioleate. A process is disclosed for preparing such a composition. The composition can be used for the manufacture of a finished article or a semi-finished product intended for a suspension system of a motor vehicle, in particular a tire or a tread of such a tire.

  • Publication number: 20080156404
Abstract: The inventive plasticising system is used for plasticising a dienic rubber compound is characterised in that it is based on a MES or TDAE oil and a polylimonene resin. Said rubber compound exhibits an improved abrasion and cut resistance and is based on at least one type of dienic elastomer, a reinforcing filler, a cross-linking system and a plasticising system comprising from 5 to 35 to 35 pce of the MES or TDAE oil and from 5 to 35 to 35 pce of polylimonene resin (pce=parts by weight percent elastomer). Advantageously, said plasticising system also comprises a glycerol unsaturated fatty acid triester (C12-C22), preferably a glycerol trifoliate. The inventive method for producing said compound, using the compound for producing a final or semi-final product for the gripping system of a motor vehicle with ground, in particular the tire or the thread thereof are also disclosed.
