  • Publication number: 20190377587
Abstract: A method for interfacing between a first electronic system and a second electronic system is provided. The method comprises: capturing data on a graphical user interface state of the first electronic system using one or more sensors of the second electronic system, wherein at least one type of the data captured with the one or more sensors is image data captured using an optical sensor; recognizing at least one component of the graphical user interface state of the first electronic system, wherein the at least one component of the graphical user interface state further comprises structure and content of the graphical user interface; matching the at least one recognized component with one or more entries in a database on the second electronic system; and performing an action on the second electronic system associated with the matched component.

  • Patent number: 10409659
Abstract: Systems and methods capable of increasing reliability of received commands across a variety of different kinds of input devices and modalities are provided. The provided systems and methods easily expand to support additional input devices, and easily adapt to a wide variety of command destinations, such as subsystems and components. The provided systems and methods employ command specific verification strategies before transmitting the command to its destination. The provided systems and methods also concurrently support a wide variety of command destinations, such as subsystems and components.

  • Publication number: 20170294187
Abstract: A system and method for performing speech recognition. A speech recognition engine includes a plurality of grammar paths each defining a recognized phrase. The grammar paths each have at least two nodes that are connected by a recognized word. An input device receives a user specified input that corresponds to the recognized word. A microphone receives a user phrase and a processor excludes grammar paths from the speech recognition engine based on an absence of the user specified input. The processor selects the recognized phrase from the non-excluded grammar paths based on the user phrase.

  • Patent number: 9335917
Abstract: A method and apparatus is provided for enhancing an HMI (Human Machine Interface) mechanism to include continuous, sequential, and time-based navigation capabilities. Airspace data associated with a flight plan is received, and the airspace data associated with a region of the flight plan is displayed. A time scale substantially coextensive with the region is also displayed. To view a future region of the airspace, the time scale on the display is moved in a first direction, and to view a previous region, the time scale on the display is moved in a second, substantially opposite direction.
