Abstract: A continuous flow structural health monitoring system for detecting a crack in a component or structure comprises a pressure source, a fluidic circuit and a measurement system. The pressure source supplies fluid at a regulated pressure relative to ambient pressure. The fluidic circuit couples at one end to the pressure source and opens at an opposite end to ambient pressure. The pressure source produces a substantially constant and continuous flow of fluid through the fluidic circuit. The fluidic circuit has a first passage having a first surface portion of the component or structure. The measurement system monitors perturbations in the flow of fluid through the first passage to provide an indication of structural health of the component or structure.

A secondary “L” shaped form is included having a second horizontal blade and a second vertical tongue, with the second horizontal blade and the second vertical tongue also lying in a common plane and also intersecting at a perfect 90° right angle. The second horizontal blade extends from an inside edge of the first vertical tongue such that all blades and tongues lie in a common plane and the second horizontal blade is parallel to and spaced below the first horizontal blade, and the second vertical tongue is parallel to and spaced from the first vertical tongue.

Abstract: Manufacture of 1-(quinazolin-4-yl)indol-3-ylacetic acids and salts thereof by reacting a phenylhydrazone derivative with a quinazoline derivative, for example a halogenoquinazoline, and then ring-closing the resulting intermediate product. An illustrative product of the process of the invention is 1-(7-chloroquinazolin-4-yl)-5-methoxy-2-methylindol-3-ylacetic acid.
