    Abstract: At various loads a fuel/air peak relationship is determined for the peak infrared radiation. A desired operating fuel/air ratio is determined as is the offset between the relationship and the ratio. Later recalibration of the control system is established by determining a new fuel/air peak relationship and applying the offset.
