Abstract: A clip closure for a bag having adjustable clamping means which have an open position and a closed position, the clamping means in their open position being placeable over the open end section of the open bag and in their closed position surrounding and trapping said open end section in the stall of a color, wherein the clamping means comprises a first clamping element and a second clamping element which are pivotably hinged to each other so that they can accommodate said open end section of said bag in the open position of the clamping means and so that they can clamp said open end section of said bag between each other in the closed position in the clamping gap formed between the first clamping element and the second clamping element, and the clip closure having locking means for locking the clamping means in the closed position. The clamping means of the clip closure feature two or more closed positions in which they can be locked which are characterized by different widths of the clamping gap.
