  • Publication number: 20070183583
Abstract: A focus-detector arrangement and an X-ray apparatus for generating projective or tomographic phase contrast recordings of a subject are disclosed. In at least one embodiment, the focus-detector arrangement includes a radiation source with a focus, arranged on a first side of the subject, for generating a fan-shaped or conical beam of rays; at least one X-ray optical grating arranged in the beam path, with at least one phase grating arranged on the opposite second side of the subject in the beam path generating an interference pattern of the X-radiation preferably, in a particular energy range; and an analysis-detector system which detects at least the interference pattern generated by the phase grating in respect of its phase shift with position resolution. According to at least one embodiment of the invention, at least one X-ray optical grating including bars which are free from overhangs form shadows in the beam path of the fan-shaped or conical beam of rays.

  • Publication number: 20070183579
Abstract: An X-ray optical transmission grating of a focus-detector arrangement of an X-ray apparatus is disclosed, for generating projective or tomographic phase contrast recordings of a subject. In at least one embodiment, the grating includes a multiplicity of grating bars and grating gaps arranged periodically on at least one surface of at least one wafer, wherein the X-ray optical transmission grating includes at least two sub-gratings arranged in direct succession in the beam direction.

  • Publication number: 20070183584
Abstract: A focus-detector arrangement of an X-ray apparatus is disclosed, for generating projective or tomographic phase contrast recordings of a subject. In at least one embodiment, least one grating of a focus-detector arrangement includes, at least partially, a macroscopically homogeneous medium which, when excited by an energy source, assumes a periodic structure/standing wave field that leads to beam splitting and the formation of an interference pattern when the X-ray beam passes through.

  • Publication number: 20070153979
Abstract: A system for generation of an x-ray image with high resolution has an x-ray generator that produces an x-ray focal spot with a number of intensity maxima. The partial x-ray images corresponding to each of the intensity maxima are subsequently reconstructed into an x-ray image of high resolution using an algorithm taking into account the spatial distribution.

  • Publication number: 20070114013
Abstract: The invention relates to a heat exchanger for motor vehicles, especially for utility vehicles. Said heat exchanger comprises a heat exchanger unit (2), constituted of tubes (5) having tube ends and ribs (6) disposed between said tubes (5), and collecting tanks (3, 4), disposed on both ends and produced by internal high pressure forming for introducing and discharging a medium. Said collecting tanks (3, 4) comprise bottoms with openings for receiving the tube ends, covers and inlet and outlet tubes (7, 11).

  • Patent number: 6087603
Abstract: The present invention concerns a switch, preferably a steering column switch for an automobile, with which both control currents and load currents are to be controlled. The object of the present invention is to mostly prevent soil and scale from forming on the contact surfaces. The present invention achieves this object by transforming the grinding movement of the operating element into a movement of the contact points perpendicular to one another with the help of a mechanical control. Advantageous embodiments involve the design and positioning of the contact points as well as the design of the mechanical control and a method of assembling the switch according to the present invention.

  • Patent number: 5861592
Abstract: A reset device for a blinker switch includes a pivoting reset element which is used which has two lateral arms on which opposing springs extending through the switch housing act. These springs both tension the reset element with respect to the steering spindle and produce a torque tending to restore the reset element to its middle setting. The problem of the invention is to do without the conventional draw springs. The invention solves this problem by means of a single compression spring acting on the reset element and providing both a force in the longitudinal direction of the reset element and the desired restoring torque.
