  • Patent number: 11585346
Abstract: The invention relates to a pump assembly, especially of a mechanical seal assembly, for supplying a fluid, especially to a mechanical seal (2a, 2b), comprising exactly one drive (11) comprising a drive shaft (24), a first axial pump (21), which conveys the fluid in the axial direction (X-X) of the drive shaft, a second axial pump (22), which conveys the fluid in the axial direction of the drive shaft, and a radial pump (23), which conveys the fluid in the radial direction (R) of the drive shaft, wherein the first axial pump (21) and the second axial pump (22) are arranged in front of the radial pump (23) in the flow-through direction (B) of the fluid across the pump assembly, and wherein the drive (11) simultaneously drives the first axial pump (21), the second axial pump (22) and the radial pump (23).

  • Patent number: 8386491
Abstract: A plurality of subtechnologies may be identified in which each of the plurality of subtechnologies is characterized by a common granularity level. The organization-level demand and/or expertise for each of the identified plurality of subtechnologies may also be identified. Thereafter, a corresponding plurality of subtechnology profiles may be generated, which include a corresponding organization-level demand and/or expertise, as well as other subtechnology attributes. In one embodiment, the generated subtechnology profiles may then be stored in a common technology database. The technology database may be searched based on user queries entered via the common graphical user interface. The subtechnology search results may be ranked based, at least in part, on a quantitative comparison of the subtechnology's general relevance to the user, with the internal relevance to the user's company or organization.

  • Publication number: 20090271392
Abstract: A plurality of subtechnologies is identified in which each of the plurality of subtechologies may be defined or characterized by a common granularity level. Thereafter, a plurality of subtechnology interconnectivities, relating to two or more of the identified plurality of subtechnologies, may correspondingly be identified. In one embodiment, a plurality of subtechnology profiles may be generated, wherein the subtechnology profiles include the subtechnology interconnectivities, as well as other subtechnology attributes. In one embodiment, the generated subtechnology profiles may then be stored in a common technology database, to which access may be provided using a common user interface. The technology database may be searched based on user queries entered via the common graphical user interface, as well as the identified subtechnology interconnectivities.

  • Publication number: 20090271431
Abstract: A predetermined set of technology attributes is defined, where the technology attributes correspond to set of predetermined traits for a particular subtechnology. A plurality of subtechnologies may then be identified, where each of the plurality of subtechologies may be defined or characterized by a common granularity level. In one embodiment, a plurality of subtechnology profiles, corresponding to the identified plurality of subtechologies, may be generated. In one embodiment, such subtechnology profiles may be generated based on the previously-defined set of technology attributes. The generated subtechnology profiles may then be stored in a common technology database, to which access may be provided using a common user interface.

  • Patent number: 7230179
Abstract: A stray voltage suppression device includes a motor-driven conductive vane which rotates in planes oriented at least substantially parallel to the ground, with the motor casing being connected to the ground below. The device has been found useful to reduce or eliminate stray voltage about the area at which it is installed.
