  • Publication number: 20240084224
Abstract: An ancillary laundry composition comprising an ester oil, which is a polyol comprising at least two ester linkages, free perfume and 0 to 0.85 wt. % anionic and/or cationic surfactant. A method of laundering clothes, wherein said composition is added in the wash or rinse stage. A method of preventing colour fade over (10) laundry cycles, wherein fabrics are treated with said composition during each consecutive laundry cycle. The use of said composition to provide an improved colour maintenance or reduced colour fade over consecutive laundry cycles, preferably (10), more preferably (5) laundry cycles.

  • Patent number: 10889460
Abstract: An apparatus for retaining a utility reel on a horizontal shaft, said apparatus comprising a first rotational collar and a second rotational collar configured to be attached to the horizontal shaft on either side of the utility spool. The apparatus is held in place by set screws, the set screws typically being such that they cannot be removed without grinding or cutting so as to not vibrate loose while transporting said reel.

  • Publication number: 20070004243
Abstract: There is disclosed a flexible sheet structure having improved conformability yet remaining strong and robust. The structure is made up of a plurality of modules that allow relative rotation in both an axis parallel to the plane and perpendicular to the plane of the sheet when laid flat. This allows the density of the sheet to be locally or globally changed so that improved conformability around complex shapes is provided. There is also disclosed a means for locking and unlocking the modules of the sheet using a locking material in each connection that is activated by the external addition of energy (e.g. heat energy).

  • Publication number: 20060135407
Abstract: The invention provides, in one aspect, compositions for delivering a bioactive metal ion to a mammal, the compositions comprising (a) an effective amount of a source of the bioactive metal ion, (b) a phosphoprotein preparation obtained by partially cross linking a partial hydrolysate of casein or a caseinate, and (c) one or more physiologically acceptable diluents or carriers. Also provided are compositions for remineralising tooth enamel and/or for treating or preventing dental caries, tooth erosion, dentinal hypersensitivity or gingivitis in a mammal, wherein the compositions comprise an effective amount of such a phosphoprotein preparation, in combination with one or more carriers or diluents. In related aspects, the invention provides methods of using such compositions. Also provided are novel phosphoprotein preparations suitable for use in such compositions and methods.

  • Patent number: 6786083
Abstract: Apparatus is described for objectively testing the condition of a support surface such as mattress. The apparatus comprises a frame (8, 21, 22) for extending over the support surface, an indenter (5) mounted on said frame and a load sensor (4) disposed between the indenter and the frame, manually operated means (6) for pressing the indenter into the support surface, displacement measuring means for measuring the movement of the indenter into the support surface and data processing means (7) for analyzing the force applied to the indenter in relation to the displacement of the indenter into the support surface.
