  • Patent number: 9752285
Abstract: The sleeper block unit (1) for railway track systems consists of a sleeper block (2) and of a sleeper shoe (3) that partly surrounds the sleeper block (2). The sleeper block (2) has a head portion (4) and a base portion (6), the head portion (4) extending beyond the base portion (6) in length and in width, thus forming a step (10). At the upper edge of the sleeper shoe (3), a surrounding, upwardly and outwardly extending sealing lip (14) that lies against the step (10) is arranged. As a result, during vertical movements of the sleeper block (2) in the sleeper shoe (3), the sealing lip (14) is deformed substantially vertically in the elastic range rather than rubbing against an outer wall of the sleeper block as in known sleeper block units. In this manner the sealing lip is subject to reduced wear so that the sealing effect is maintained for a longer period and the sleeper block unit (1) has a longer lifetime.

  • Patent number: 9260821
Abstract: In a section of a ballasted track that extends over a plurality of crossties, ballast is removed and crossties are removed. Crosstie blocks mounted in concrete slabs are inserted, lifted, and fastened to the rails. The rails are supported by temporary, vertically adjustable supports and adjusted. In an area that extends over a number of concrete slabs, infill concrete is filled in from the underground up to at least part of the height of the concrete slabs, and after the infill concrete has hardened, at least a part of each of the supports located between two respective concrete slabs is removed. The method allows the conversion to be carried out without changing the position of the rails. After the placement of the supports, the track is immediately operable again so that the relevant section need not remain closed until all method steps are completed.

  • Patent number: 8039754
Abstract: A conductor carrier includes a base insulating film, a contact insulating film, at least one first printed conductor and one second printed conductor. The contact insulating film includes at least one first recess and one second recess. The printed conductors are embedded between the two insulating films and each forms a first overlapping region with the first or second recess of the contact insulating film. The conductor carrier also includes an insulating region which separates the first printed conductor from the second printed conductor in an insulating manner due to the contact insulating film being less raised than outside the insulating region, and extends between the first and second recesses of the contact insulating film in a meandering manner. A configuration having the conductor carrier is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20090053943
Abstract: The invention relates to a cable for bringing into contact with a contact point of a flexible strip conductor, to a contact strip for one or more cables of this type, and to a system for bringing control electronics, which are situated on a flexible printed circuit board, into contact with at least one electrical and/or electronic component. The component is, particularly, a mechatronic transmission or engine controller of a motor vehicle. A special contact with a welding boss is placed at the end of a cable. A bundle of cables of this type is fixed in a defined position by way of a contact strip. The invention enables, for the first time, one or more cables to be directly brought into contact with the contact point(s) of a flexible strip conductor. This advantageously eliminates additional contact points and parts such as mating connectors, etc. whereby leading to a distinct improvement in quality and reduction in costs.

  • Patent number: 7158868
Abstract: A method and a device (10) for consistent bidirectional analysis of engine characteristics map data in an engine characteristics map are described. The engine characteristics map data represents interlinked technical variables. In this method, first a characteristic curve representing the interdependence of two of the technical variables is determined. This characteristic curve forms the basis for additional conversions in bidirectional analysis of the particular engine characteristics map.

  • Publication number: 20050246054
Abstract: A method and a control apparatus for controlling the movement of a sliding door in its end closing area by always permitting movement of the door leaf in a closing direction by providing a free wheel, only permitting movement of the door leaf in an opening direction when a brake, coupling or other fixation for a fixed part of the free wheel remote from the door leaf is disengaged, determining door position, deactivating any present safety devices against pinching in the predetermined end closing area, reducing a current supply of the door drive and thus a closing force acting on the door leaf to a lower value as long as the door leaf is within the end closing area, and disengaging the brake, coupling or other fixation which acts on the part of the free wheel remote from the door leaf.
