  • Patent number: 7320275
Abstract: A seasoning implement composed of an elongated hollow member loaded with a seasoning and having a plurality of axially spaced openings for inserting into a food mass. The hollow member provides a driving force to expel the seasoning. The hollow member may be a two-component assembly. A first component includes a hollow shaft defining a plurality of holes and has a point on one end and is open on its other end. The second component includes a cap. The two components are mutually engageable in a secure coupling. The seasoning is in the form of a powder or solid mass composed of a binder matrix holding a seasoning or mixture of seasonings. The binder disintegrates during heating of the food to release the seasoning and enable the implement to expel the seasoning into the food.

  • Patent number: 6556903
Abstract: A safety system and method for school buses in which sensors are associated with each seat to sense if a person is occupying the seat and if the seat belt is buckled. A display, within the vision of the bus driver, shows the condition of each seat. Sensors determine the head count of students on the bus. An alarm signals a mismatch between the head count and seats occupied. A telecommunications link and a global positioning system provides bus location to a remote station. Additional sensors detect shook, heat, smoke, CO, water and tire pressure.

  • Publication number: 20030014166
Abstract: A safety system and method for buses, and in particular school buses, with the bus having a plurality of seats arrange in rows with at least one aisle running lengthwise of the bus, and a forward seat for a driver, and a door through which students enter and leave the bus. A sensor is associated with each seat to sense if a person is occupying the seat. A safety seat belt and buckle member enable a person seated in a seat to buckle in for safety. A sensor senses if the seat belt is buckled. The condition of each seat is read to determine if the seat is occupied and the seat belt is buckled. A display, within the vision of the bus driver while normally operating the bus, shows the condition of each seat. A telecommunications link is provided between the bus and a remote station and can be operated by the bus driver while normally operating the bus. A global positioning system coupled to the telecommunications link provides to the remote station the location of the bus.

  • Patent number: 5941252
Abstract: A nested tray and stand for holding a plurality of nail image material bottles. The stand has a rounded annular base plate with a hollow cylinder extending vertically from its inner rim. A receptacle for holding absorbent material saturated with a suitable solvent is defined at the upper part of the cylinder. A slotted cap closes off the top of the cylinder with absorbent material exposed through the slot. The tray is a molded annular configuration that slips over the stand and provides a series of peripherally recesses each of which recess can hold a bottle in a plurality of orientations.
