    Abstract: The invention concerns a shoe, particularly an athletic shoe, comprising a shoe upper part and a sole. At least one cushioning element is placed above or inside the sole. This cushioning element is formed from a number of webs that form cavities extending horizontally and transversally to the longitudinal direction of the shoe. In order to improve the spring and cushioning behavior as well as the pronation an supination behavior of the shoe, the invention provides that the shoe has a hind foot of heel shell to which the at least one portion of the webs directly adjoin.
