  • Publication number: 20050006058
Abstract: Various systems and apparati as well as devices and structures are provided which may be used or incorporated into air handling systems (e.g. (air) ventilation systems and apparati) for the manipulation or control of air in a enclosure such as a building, a room of a structure such as a residence, and the like. Such air handling systems (e.g. ventilation apparati or systems) may for example include an element for the transfer of heat from warm exhaust air (taken from inside an enclosure e.g. a building) to cooler exterior fresh air (drawn into the enclosure e.g. building). The present invention further relates to air handling systems (e.g. ventilation systems and apparati) which may not only exhaust stale interior air to the outside of an enclosure but as desired or necessary also intermingle a portion of such stale air with fresh air for delivery of the intermingled air back into the enclosure (during cold or warm weather). The present invention in particular relates to air handling systems (e.g.

  • Publication number: 20040226685
Abstract: A stackable spacer element for use in a energy recovery core formed by stacking a plurality of relatively thin energy transfer media (e.g. sheets, panels, or plates (un-perforated exchanger sheets) so as to define a plurality of stacked energy transfer stages providing air passages for two separate air flows.

  • Patent number: 6698113
Abstract: A plow including a plowing vehicle and a moldboard has a decelerating fluid actuator which allows adjustable positioning of the moldboard with respect to the plowing vehicle. The cylinder has first and second ports which are successively blocked as the piston is retracted within the cylinder, with the second port being blocked after the first port during retraction. An enclosure is provided outside the cylinder, with the enclosure interior defining a passage between the ports and connecting the ports to a fluid supply. The flow area of the passage between the ports is adjustable to create a restriction. As a result, when the piston begins retraction, the retraction speed is dictated by flow through both ports, and when the piston retracts to a sufficient degree that the first port is blocked, retraction speed is dictated by the flow through the second port and the passage.

  • Publication number: 20030182328
Abstract: A data management system for sharing data between remote sites of a data network A data storage medium is located at each site, operative to store first and second data collections. The data management system includes a primary data replication module, a replication control mechanism and a secondary data replication module. The primary data replication module replicates data from at least a portion of the first data collection of each data storage medium to the same first portion of the first data collection of predetermined ones of the other data storage media. The replication control mechanism includes a data structure that is stored in the first data collection of each data storage medium, whereby data from the data structure is replicated by the primary data replication module from each data storage media to the respective predetermined other data storage media. This data structure contains data representative of modifications made to the second data collection of each data storage medium.
