The oven door includes at least one transparent door panel made of a dielectric material and a metallization enclosing at least partially the transparent door panel. The oven door includes further a plurality of lamellae arranged uniformly on one side of the metallization and at least one front shielding, which is arranged in the center portion on at least one side of the transparent door panel. The metallization and the lamellae are formed by a coating on the transparent door panel, wherein said coating is made of a conductive material and applied on the transparent door panel. Further, the present invention relates to a corresponding microwave oven. Additionally, the present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an oven door with a wave chokes system for a microwave oven.
