    Abstract: An amusement ride includes a passenger receiver, a first carrier, a first movement device, a second carrier, a second movement device, a first releasable coupling device for releasably coupling the first carrier to the passenger receiver and a second releasable coupling device for releasably coupling the second carrier to the passenger receiver. A releasable connecting device is formed to connect the first carrier and the second carrier at least in a movement direction of one of the carriers independently of a coupling existing via the coupling devices or comprises a compensating device, which enables a relative movement of the carriers in relation to each other in the coupled state of the first coupling device and the coupled state of the second coupling device at least in the movement direction of one of the carriers. Furthermore, a method for operating an amusement ride is specified.

The flange clamping receptacle is arranged in the direction of the clamping axis between two of the at least two seat clamping receptacles. The clamping device passes through the two seat clamping receptacles arranged on either side of the flange clamping receptacle and clamps them together in the direction of the clamping axis.

A receptacle for a user is provided. The receptacle has one or more input/output devices and is mounted on the robot arm. A simulation control device is connected by a data connection and an energy transmission connection to the one or more input/output devices. One or more electrical drives are connected to the robot arm and enable pivot movements about one or more rotary movement axes. A robot control device controls the one or more electric drives, wherein the robot control device is secured on the base. The base is supported on the frame so as to be continuously rotatable about a first one of the one or more rotary movement axes.
