The sensor module includes a transmission element, a sensor element and a supporting element, the sensor module being supported by way of the transmission element on a compensation member which is joined to the adapter element, and by way of the supporting element on a fixing element. At an end face pointing toward the sensor module, the compensation member is provided with a circular recess, in which the transmission element is accommodated in centered fashion.
