  • Patent number: 7002385
Abstract: A circuit arrangement for producing a PWM signal (x) having a prescribed PWM frequency from two signals (a, b) which are input into the circuit arrangement, where the PWM signal (x) has a duty ratio which varies with the difference between the signals (a, b) comprises a signal generator (16) for producing a cyclic comparison signal, particularly an essentially trapezoidal signal (d), whose frequency is the same as the PWM frequency and whose shape is dependent on one (a) of the two signals (a, b), and a comparator (18) for comparing the other (b) of the two signals (a, b) with the comparison signal (d) and for providing the PWM signal (x) at the output of the comparator.

  • Patent number: 6989658
Abstract: A circuit design for a circuit for switching currents is disclosed, comprising at least one switch element (T1 . . . Tn, T1? . . . Tn?), and at least one respective main current conductor (D, S, A) for interlinking the switch element, the poles (V+, GND) of a current source and an energy accumulator (C). The aim of the invention is to reduce ohmic resistance and inductive resistance of such a circuit. To this end, an ancillary current conductor (D1, S1, A1) that has a lower current carrying capacity than the main current conductor is connected in parallel to at least one of the main current conductors (D, S, A).

  • Patent number: 6919649
Abstract: A power supply device comprises a power generating circuit which provides a supply current as a function of a control signal, a regulator to which a reference signal and a regulation signal corresponding to the supply current, are input, in order to provide the control signal, and a reference device providing the reference signal, with a normal state being provided in which the supply current is provided for the electrical loads which are operated at the rated voltage and the input signal difference of the regulator is zero. A regulation characteristic starts from the normal state, whereby a sudden reduction in the operating voltage from the rated voltage to a rated minimum voltage which is necessary for operation of the loads leads to a rise in the supply current by at least 20% of the maximum supply current which can be provided by means of the power generating circuit.

  • Publication number: 20040039999
Abstract: A circuit design for a circuit for switching currents is disclosed, comprising at least one switch element (T1 . . . Tn, T1′ . . . Tn′), and at least one respective main current conductor (D, S, A) for interlinking the switch element, the poles (V+, GND) of a current source and an energy accumulator (C).
