  • Publication number: 20230184550
Abstract: A system for providing 3D surveying of an environment by a mobile reality capture device. A motion state tracker is used to determine a motion pattern of the mobile reality capture device. If a determined motion pattern corresponds to a defined movement of the mobile reality capture device, the system is configured to automatically perform a derivation of an expected motion pattern of the mobile reality capture device. The movement category is associated to an environment-specific measurement movement of the mobile reality capture device, based on which an expected motion pattern of the mobile reality capture device is associated to the current movement category. By carrying out a comparison of the determined motion pattern and the expected motion pattern, feedback regarding the comparison of the determined motion pattern and the expected motion pattern is provided.

  • Patent number: 11216664
Abstract: A method for real-time visualization of a risk zone of a mining vehicle to a person on a mining worksite for augmenting the person's current view of the mining vehicle including capturing with a camera a stream of pictures corresponding at least partly to the person's field of view, recognizing at least one mining vehicle in the picture stream by means of image processing, extracting image data of the mining vehicle from the picture stream, calculating, based on the image data and on preset vehicle risk zone data, at least one risk zone of the mining vehicle adapted to the person's current view of the mining vehicle, and visualizing the risk zone on a person's display such that the person's current view of the mining vehicle is overlayed in real-time with the visualization of the risk zone.

  • Patent number: 10950054
Abstract: An Augmented Reality (AR)-device, including a visual sensor for capturing an environment of the AR-device, a display providing a real view of the environment, and overlays onto the real view according to AR-data including at least one of design data and measured data, a computer for reading and controlling the visual sensor, at least one of receiving, generating and storing the AR-data, and identification features which are assigned to each of a plurality of reference systems, generating the overlays, establishing a referenced status of the AR-device relative to each of the reference systems by identifying a reference system based on at least one identification feature captured by the visual sensor, determining a pose of the AR-device relative to the identified reference system, and maintaining the referenced status in case of loss of visual contact between the visual sensor and the identification feature, based on a Visual Localisation and Mapping (VSLAM)-process.
