  • Patent number: 9776801
Abstract: A system has a telescopic conveyor 20 and at least one guiding element 40. The at least one guiding element 40 may be fixed at a location by means of securing components 43. The telescopic conveyor 20 can be moved in or counter to the conveying direction of the telescopic conveyor 20 from a parking position into an operating position, with the telescopic conveyor 20 being guided by the at least one guiding element 40, in order to allow operation of the telescopic conveyor 20. The telescopic conveyor 20 can be moved in or counter to the conveying direction of the telescopic conveyor 20, with the telescopic conveyor 20 being guided by the at least one guiding element 40, from an operating position into a parking position in order to clear a space which is occupied by the telescopic conveyor 20 in the operating position.

  • Patent number: 8662291
Abstract: A telescopic belt conveyor includes a base conveyor unit (4), an outer conveyor unit (10) and optionally one or more intermediate conveyor units (6, 8). The outer conveyor unit (10) and any intermediate conveyor units (6, 8) are mounted on the base conveyor unit and extendable telescopically therefrom in an extension direction. The outer conveyor unit (10) includes a pivotable conveyor section (12) that is mounted for pivoting movement about a substantially horizontal pivot axis. A conveyor belt (14) is supported by the base conveyor unit (4), the outer conveyor unit (10) and the intermediate conveyor units (6, 8), the conveyor belt providing a conveyor surface that extends continuously along an upper surface of the base conveyor unit (4), the outer conveyor unit (10) and the intermediate conveyor units (6, 8). The pivotable conveyor section (12) has a free end remote from the pivot axis whose height relative to a ground surface may be adjusted by pivoting movement of the pivotable conveyor section.

  • Publication number: 20080104709
Abstract: A system and method for secure data storage is provided. A host system sends data to a secure storage processor where it is encrypted, stored, and a globally unique identifier is transmitted to the host system. The globally unique identifier is associated with the stored encrypted data and can be used in future interactions with the secure storage processor, such as a transaction request. A host system will transmit a transaction request and a globally unique identifier to the secure storage processor. The secure storage processor will process the transaction utilizing the stored encrypted data associated with the globally unique identifier, and will transmit a response indicating the failure or success of the transaction. In addition, the system is configured to facilitate information retrieval, wherein the secure storage processor sends the stored encrypted data to a requesting host system.

  • Patent number: 6504908
Abstract: The present invention provides a personal emergency response system having a home communicator with fully integrated capabilities to provide messages and reminders on a timed basis for the well being, safety and comfort of the subscriber as well as providing the emergency response capabilities of present systems. The invention may be embodied in a small tabletop device which can include a speakerphone and other telephone functions and which is plugged into the telephone line at the subscriber's home or other facility. The unit includes microprocessor-based circuitry including an internal clock and data storage for containing control and message information. Data storage can be via a digital storage chip such as an EPROM. The invention serves as an interactive attendant for the subscriber by which the subscriber can have an increased sense of security in the ability to summon help in the event of an emergency, and in being provided with timely reminders in the course of daily activities.
