  • Publication number: 20230315059
Abstract: A user interface for parameterization of an automation unit; a display and a processor which is programmed to output a primary dialogue and secondary dialogues graphically on the display, the primary dialogue mapping to a basic function of the automation unit, and each secondary dialogue mapping to a following function which is necessary for performance of the basic function, and including interaction elements, by means of which the automation unit are parameterised so that the following function are performed, and for each secondary dialogue the primary dialogue provides a selection element, actuation of which enables the secondary dialogue in question to be accessed directly from the primary dialogue. The primary dialogue gives a user a work overview with familiar concepts of an application domain in the form of utility functions. This reduces the learning effort and mental strain when the user is performing the task.

  • Patent number: 8587607
Abstract: Pixel graphics resulting from a computer program running under an operating system are to be tailored to the environment. According to an embodiment of the invention, it is assumed that a user sets settings for graphic interfaces, which the operating system itself produces, so that the graphic interfaces are tailored to the environment and makes the determination of the pixel graphic a function of data stored during such setting of the graphic interfaces.

  • Patent number: 7200663
Abstract: A central computer receives from a supplier a parameter set for a data technologically parameterizable device and buffer-stores it. The central computer communicates the parameter set to a decision-maker. It incorporates the parameter set into a parameter set list if the central computer is prescribed an acceptance command by an operator. Parameter sets incorporated into the parameter set list can be communicated from the central computer to an interrogator at the request of the interrogator.

  • Patent number: 7015935
Abstract: In an apparatus for displaying reference images of patients and slices to be measured in a displayed reference image for assisting the positioning of slices in preparation for a slice-by-slice measurement and a computer software product and corresponding method, a storage device stores at least one measured reference image of a current patient, a display screen displays a stored reference image, an input device allows entry of commands for displaying and positioning slices to be measured in a displayed reference image, and a processing device processes the entered commands and correspondingly controls the display of the reference image and the slices. The processing device, depending on the entry of commands via the input device by a user, generates a rotated representation of the reference image and a spatial representation—corresponding to the rotation of the reference image—of the slices and displays them on the screen.

  • Patent number: 6081256
Abstract: In a method for reading in a data value that is entered with a pointer actuator a data value as well as a place value (i.e., 10.sup.x where x is arbitrary) is prescribed, a control motion is read in, at least a first motion value or a second motion value dependent on the control motion is determined, and the place value is modified if necessary dependent on the first motion value and the data value is modified if necessary dependent on the second motion value and the current place value. With such a method, data values can be entered fast and comfortably with a pointer in a large value range and with high precision.

  • Patent number: 5689284
Abstract: In a method for direct manipulation of images on a computer monitor using a mouse, the image is divided on the monitor into nine regions. Dependent on the region in which a mouse cursor is located, a different function is executed by moving the mouse cursor. In the four corner regions of the image, displacement of the mouse cursor causes an enlargement or downsizing of the image dependent on the mouse displacement. If the mouse cursor is located in the central region, displacement of the cursor results in a shift of the image. If the mouse cursor is located in one of four middle edge regions, respectively disposed between the corner regions, a scrolling of the image ensues dependent on the mouse cursor displacement. In order to activate the function in each region, activation is accomplished by depressing a mouse key.
