  • Patent number: 9465085
Abstract: The present invention relates to a test system for high-voltage technology devices, in particular shunt reactors, as defined in the preamble of independent patent claim 1. The invention also relates to a method which can be carried out with this test system and is intended to test high-voltage technology devices according to coordinate patent claim 5. The general idea of the test system according to the invention is to provide a continuously adjustable inductance and a capacitance, which can be adjusted in discrete steps, on the secondary side of the test transformer in such a manner that said components form a series resonant circuit together with the test object in the form of an inductance.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 15, 2013
Date of Patent: October 11, 2016
    Assignee: MASCHINENFABRIK REINHAUSEN GMBH
Inventors: Martin Hinow, Uwe Stephan, Guenther Siebert, Ralf Bergmann, Andreas Thiede

  • Patent number: 8669768
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for system components of a high-voltage impulse test system, preferably for quality assurance of power transformers. According to the invention, a common base frame having only one main electrode common to the system components is proposed for the spatial collection of the system components.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 12, 2010
Date of Patent: March 11, 2014
    Assignee: Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen GmbH
Inventors: Martin Hinow, Martin Kubat, Thomas Steiner
  • Patent number: 8344554
Abstract: The present invention relates to a controlled truncating radio connection for a high-voltage impulse test system, preferably for quality assurance of power transformers. According to the invention, the truncating radio connection is expanded by an additional damping unit, made of a serial damping resistance and a damping inductance having a radio connection connected in parallel thereto, and thereby combines the functionalities of a truncating radio connection and an overshoot compensation in only one auxiliary component.

  • Publication number: 20110202294
Abstract: A correction algorithm is used in order to reduce the systematic measurement error arising from the evaluation device of an impulse voltage test system. It is advantageous to install the high-voltage divider as intermediate circuit. This arrangement requires only one high-voltage connection between the components of the test system and the device under test. The correction function uK(t) is the difference between the voltage at the device under test uP(t) and the voltage at the high-voltage divider uT(t).
