  • Patent number: 11628549
Abstract: A compressed air nailer comprises a working piston connected to a driving tappet configured to drive a fastener. A trigger and a placing sensor are configured to be actuated to aerate or deaerate a main control line to enable triggering of the driving process. A control valve assembly is configured to define a locked position and an open position by controlling a first pressure in a first control space and a second pressure in a second control space. The first control space is connected to the trigger valve and actuation of the trigger valve is configured to bring the safety valve assembly into the locked position. When the safety valve assembly is in the open position, an actuation of the placing sensor valve is configured to bring the safety valve assembly into the open position when the trigger valve is actuated.

  • Patent number: 11632590
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method and system for collecting attentiveness information associated with a user's response to consuming a piece of media content. The attentiveness information is used to create an attentiveness-labelled behavioural data for the user's response. A computer-implemented attentiveness model may be generated by applying machine learning techniques to the a set of attentiveness-labelled behavioural data from multiple users. The system may comprise an annotation tool that facilitates human labelling of the user's response with attentiveness data. The resulting attentiveness model is therefore based on correlations indicative of attentiveness within the attentiveness-labelled behavioural data and/or physiological data that are based on real human cognition rather than a predetermined feature or combination of features.

  • Patent number: 11632309
Abstract: In one embodiment, a service receives administration traffic data in a network associated with a remote administration session in which a control device remotely administers a client device. The service analyzes the administration traffic data to determine whether any portion of the administration traffic data is resulting from an administration session involving a trusted administrator. The service flags a first portion of the administration traffic data as authorized when the first portion of the administration traffic data is determined to result from an administration session involving a trusted administrator, and a second portion of the administration traffic data is non-flagged. The service assesses the second portion of the administration traffic data using a machine learning-based traffic classifier to determine whether the second portion of the administration traffic data is malicious.

  • Patent number: 11630692
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for efficient utilization worker threads in a workflow-as-a-service (WFaaS) environment. A client device may request a workflow for execution by the client device. The client device may receive the requested workflow and initialize a set of worker threads to execute the workflow and a set of heartbeater threads to monitor the set of worker threads. Upon receiving an indication of a processing delay, the client device may capture the state of the workflow, suspend execution of the workflow, and store the workflow in a temporary queue. While the processing delay persists, the client device may use the set of worker threads to execute other tasks. When the processing delay terminates, the client device may resume execution of the workflow.

  • Patent number: 11632531
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for synchronization and presentation of multiple 3D content streams. Example methods may include determining a first content stream of 3D content to send to a user device, where movement of the user device causes presentation of different portions of the 3D content at the user device, and determining a first position of the user device. Some methods may include causing presentation of a first portion of the first content stream at the user device, where the first portion corresponds to the first position, determining a second content stream of 3D content, where movement of the user device causes presentation of different portions of the 3D content at the user device, and causing presentation of a second portion of the second content stream at the user device, where the second portion corresponds to the first position of the user device.

  • Patent number: 11630864
Abstract: Techniques are described for a vectorized queue, which implements a vectorized ‘contains’ function that determines whether a value is in the queue. A three-phase vectorized shortest-path graph search splits each expanding and probing iteration into three phases that utilize vectorized instructions: (1) The neighbors of nodes that are in a next queue are fetched and written into a current queue. (2) It is determined whether the destination node is among the fetched neighbor nodes in the current queue. (3) The fetched neighbor nodes that have not yet been visited are put into the next queue. According to an embodiment, a vectorized copy operation performs vector-based data copying using vectorized load and store instructions. Specifically, vectors of data are copied from a source to a destination. Any invalid data copied to the destination is overwritten, either with a vector of additional valid data or with a vector of nonce data.

  • Patent number: 11628306
Abstract: Techniques for facilitating improved power management for an implantable device are provided. In one example, an implantable device includes a telemetry circuit and a power management circuit. The telemetry circuit is configured to facilitate a telemetry session between the implantable device and an external device. The power management circuit is configured to connect a power supply to the telemetry circuit via a first current-limiting device based on a determination that the telemetry circuit satisfies a defined criterion. The power management circuit is also configured to connect the telemetry circuit to a second current-limiting device based on a determination that the telemetry circuit is connected to the first current-limiting device for a defined period of time.

  • Patent number: RE49494
Abstract: A system processes seeds that are present in crop material. The system includes a first shearing surface, a second shearing surface arranged opposite the first shearing surface, and a clearance between the first shearing surface and the second shearing surface. The system passes crop material between the first and second shearing surfaces, where the crop material contacts the shearing surfaces as it passes through the shearing surfaces. Contact with the first and second shearing surfaces damages seeds that are present in the crop material. The system can be installed in an agricultural harvester to damage seeds that are present in crop residue to prevent the seeds from germinating after the crop residue is discharged from the agricultural harvester back into the field.
