Abstract: A closure assembly for an open-top container including an adapter ring with a depending groove for engagement about the rim of the container. The adapter ring further includes a pair of integral hinge seats having opposed detents which receive and rotationally position a pair of pivot pins integral with an overlying cover. Each pivot pin includes a detent-received shaft portion for rotational manipulation of cover, and a cam selectively engageable with a second detent in the open position of the cover for retention of the cover. The pin cam, in the corresponding detent recess, provides a second pivot axis for complete disengagement of the cover.

Abstract: A mounting bracket comprising a horizontal base with a pair of laterally spaced upwardly directed mounting arms terminating in spaced relation above the base in a pair of laterally outwardly formed downwardly directed elongate mounting channels. A pair of lugs are interposed in each channel along the length thereof and cooperate with the channel to define a snap-lock. A pair of oppositely directed support shoulders are integrally formed with the base and provide spaced coplanar support surfaces mounting opposed positioning ribs which cooperatively form a snap-lock retainer including converging forward portions and laterally enlarged rear seating portions. Retaining flanges are integrally formed with the base and depend therefrom into spaced overlying relation to the plane of the shoulder surfaces.

Abstract: A food slicer mountable within a kitchen work unit support frame and comprising a slicer body with a removable infeed ramp. The slicer body includes aligned upper and lower platforms defining a slot therebetween. The adjacent edge of the upper platform forms the slicing blade. The ramp is positioned in overlying relation to the lower platform and includes opposed end edges of different height which, upon selective alignment below the blade edge of the upper platform, vary the effective height of the slot and the thickness of the slice.
