  • Publication number: 20140327447
Abstract: The invention relates to a circuit arrangement for establishing compatibility between a field device or an interface device for a field device and a diagnostic system pertaining to a control system, to the output of which the interface device or field device can be connected. The diagnostic system is adapted to send, via the output of the control system, a test signal to the interface device or field device and to emit an error signal when an electrical response at the output of the control system lies outside an expectancy range. The circuit arrangement comprises voltage influencing means for influencing a voltage at the output of the control system.

  • Publication number: 20140137762
Abstract: A method for operating a switching hump yard, wherein in a first operating mode a lower master retarder is controlled in such a manner that cuts in the form of descending cars or groups of cars reach a classification track retarder of a classification track at a speed that is lower than a first threshold, a switch is made from the first operating mode into a second operating mode if a target for a cut is found in or in front of the classification track retarder of the classification track, and in the second operating mode the master retarder is controlled in such a manner that the cut reaches the determined target in or in front of the classification track retarder at a speed that is lower than a second threshold. We also describe a controller for controlling such a switching hump yard.

  • Publication number: 20140028138
Abstract: In a method an inner segment is first pre-assembled on each of a number of outer segments by at least one fixing element, so as to produce a plurality of segment modules having each a predetermined air gap between the inner segment and the outer segment. The inner segments and the outer segments are assigned to the rotor or stator of the electrical machine. The inner segments of the plurality of segment modules are fastened to an inner assembly device (for example a hub). The outer segments of the plurality of segment modules are fastened to an outer assembly device (for example a supporting structure). Finally, the fixing elements between the inner segments and the outer segments are removed.

  • Patent number: 8629596
Abstract: The invention relates to an end turn arrangement in a stator of a dynamoelectric machine. In order to reduce, in a simple fashion, the volume required for the end turns of the form-wound coils, the stator is formed of segments (1) that have a substantially circular arc-shaped cross-section and can be combined into a stator by adding one or more other segments (1) having the same design. Each segment (1) has recesses (6, 7), within which at least one first form-wound coil (3), which is bent outward in the radial direction of the stator in the region of the end turns, and at least one second form-wound coil (4), which is bent inward in the radial direction of the stator in the region of the end turns, are arranged in the form of a tiered winding.

  • Publication number: 20120112466
Abstract: The invention relates to an annular rotor having a hollow shaft for an electric machine. In order to allow transport of such a machine, particularly for a very large model, the rotor is divided in the circumferential direction into a plurality of partial annular rotor segments (1). The rotor further comprises a hollow shaft, wherein the closed ring shape of the rotor can be broken by separating the rotor segments (1) from each other.
