  • Publication number: 20240020663
Abstract: A method for filling an energy storage device of a motor vehicle by a charging device involves the motor vehicle being closer to the charging device than a predetermined threshold distance. A billing account associated with the motor vehicle is provided with a clearly identifiable, wirelessly transmitted identifier for the charging device by an electronic computing device of the motor vehicle. The energy storage device is filled by the charging device, and in accordance with the filling and the billing account is automatically debited.

  • Publication number: 20080018457
Abstract: An information system in a vehicle includes a storage medium for storing data, a drive mechanism for driving the storage medium, a control device configured to control the drive mechanism of the storage medium at at least two different speeds, a first speed being higher than a second speed. The control device may be configured to store data on the storage medium by driving the drive mechanism to determine the standstill state of the vehicle using sensor data and to control the drive device at the first speed if the vehicle is at a standstill.

  • Publication number: 20050256639
Abstract: A method for dynamically navigating a vehicle to its destination, whereby a vehicle-mounted device wirelessly requests route-related data for a driving destination from a traffic center, whereupon the traffic center calculates and stores a route to the driving destination for the vehicle and wirelessly transmits route-related data to the vehicle-mounted device. At least one interruption in traffic flow, which is not located on the calculated route, is monitored in the traffic center and the calculated route is, at least in part, recalculated in the event this interruption in traffic flow eases.

  • Publication number: 20050086002
Abstract: A vehicle data bus system comprises a data bus to which several bus subscribers are connected for data transmission purposes. A positioning unit is provided as a bus subscriber and is equipped to determine at least vehicle position data and to transmit the determined vehicle position data to the data bus. The positioning unit comprises a positioning sensor system, which contains at least one GPS receiver and gyro-data detection means (12) in the form of a gyroscope or in the form of means for bus-side reception and evaluation of gyro-data. The positioning unit is also equipped to determine solar position data using the determined vehicle position data, and to transmit the determined solar position data to the data bus.

  • Publication number: 20050080517
Abstract: A vehicle data bus system having one or more data buses, via which a plurality of connected bus users are connected for data transmission, having a sensor module which is embodied as a bus user and has a rotational speed sensor, the sensor module being configured to output rotational speed data onto the data bus, and having a vehicle movement dynamics/wheel slip control system which is embodied as a bus user and which is designed to receive at least the rotational speed data via the data bus. At least one further bus user is designed to receive the rotational speed data via the data bus, the sensor module is configured to preprocess the rotational speed data and to output the preprocessed rotational speed data onto the data bus, and the vehicle movement dynamics/wheel slip control system and/or the further bus user are configured to perform an offset correction of the received preprocessed rotational speed data.
