  • Patent number: 11941056
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for a weighting graph comprising nodes representing entities and edges representing relationships between entities in accordance with one or more domains. The method comprises: pre-processing the graph comprising assigning weights to the nodes and/or the edges of the graph in accordance with a specific domain of the domains, wherein the weight indicates a domain specific data quality problem of attribute values representing an edge of the edges and/or an entity involved in that edge. The weighted graph may be provided for enabling a processing of the graph in accordance with the specific domain.

  • Patent number: 7825671
Abstract: The invention relates to electrophoretic immersion lacquering of objects, e.g. the bodies of automotive vehicles, wherein the object which is to be lacquered is immersed into lacquer immersion basin containing a lacquer fluid. An electric field is produced by the object in its capacity as an electrode with at least one counter electrode. In order to determine the thickness of the lacquer layer applied in said manner, the electric charge flowing through the object during the immersion lacquering process and the surface of the object exposed to the lacquer fluid are determined in order to determine the thickness of the lacquer layer therefrom. The thickness of the lacquer coating can thus be determined during the immersion lacquering process, resulting in fewer rejects.

  • Patent number: 7794133
Abstract: Mixing devices and processes that make it possible to mix flowable finely divided solid particles with liquids (and/or slurries of solids in liquids) contained in an open top container outdoors under windy conditions, with reduced or eliminated dusting from entrainment of the flowable finely divided solids by the wind, utilize a mixing device with a dust-tight housing open at its bottom and partially immersed below the surface of the liquid, an inlet port on the housing for the finely divided solids, an outlet port on the housing for escape of air displaced by liquids flowing through an opening into the immersed portion of the housing, and, inside the housing, a driven impeller that causes the actual mixing.

  • Publication number: 20080279995
Abstract: An improved and more gentle process for extracting useful substances from wine grapes is achieved by electroporation of the must produced from red and/or white grapes. The must is pumped or circulated before the pressing applied for must production through an installation or part of an installation and pulsed electric fields are applied therein to irreversibly rupture the biological cell walls of the grape skins. The device for carrying out must electroporation comprises a dielectric pipe, the flow duct for the must, in whose wall are arranged two mutually spaced electrodes to form a pulsed electric field between the electrodes. The must, which forms the electrolytic load of the device, has an electric resistance at least as high as the impedance of a high-voltage pulse generator connected to the device.

  • Publication number: 20060208506
Abstract: A latching mechanism adapted for use with an assembly within a passenger compartment of the vehicle. The latching mechanism includes an actuator pivotably mounted on the assembly, a biasing device coupled to the actuator, and a dampener coupled to the actuator. The actuator carries an engagement member that is disposed within a detent of a labyrinth when the assembly is closed. The dampener is also coupled to the assembly for retarding movement of the actuator, wherein upon a sudden impact affecting the assembly when closed, the dampener retards movement of the actuator for a predetermined time to enable the engagement member to remain disposed in the detent to keep the assembly closed.
