Abstract: A valve is provided for flow regulation in a heating and/or cooling system. The valve includes a first valve unit with a first valve element and a second valve unit with a second valve element. The first valve unit and the second valve unit each have three valve ports. The first valve element and the second valve element are arranged in a common valve housing and the first and second valve elements fluidically couple, in a first valve element position, a first valve port to a third valve port and, in a second valve element position, couple a second valve port to the third valve port. The first valve element and the second valve element are movable together by an actuating apparatus into the first valve element position or the second valve element position. In addition, a system for heating and/or cooling including the valve is provided.

Abstract: A method for generating a brightness contribution for a picture element of an image includes providing a first data record including data which describe the effect on light rays of the lens, providing a second data record including data about a point of incidence of a light ray on the image recorder and about a virtual front surface, providing a transformation rule, calculating a first point of intersection of the light ray with the virtual front plane and a direction of the light ray at the first point of intersection by applying the transformation rule to the first and second data records, determining the brightness contribution of the light ray, storing an information item regarding the calculated brightness contribution. The first data record includes data about a second surface and the second data record includes data about a second point of intersection of the light beam with the second surface.

Abstract: A method of obtaining, preparing and visually displaying additional information on a continuous reproduction of electronic media, picture reproduction, or sound reproduction on an ongoing television program, comprises first analyzing program information from the ongoing program or of highlighted additional data to the ongoing program. Then additional information obtained from databases, from a public data network or from other sources of information subject to the program information is made available and optically prepared. This the prepared and obtained data for the additional information is then linked with manually or automatically related metadata. Finally, search criteria are linked with metadata related to individual search criteria, terms, partial entries in search criteria, or a combination thereof.
