  • Publication number: 20240167215
Abstract: A dryer has a drum for laundry items to be dried, a supply air channel, an exhaust air channel, a recirculated air channel branching off therefrom and discharging into the supply air channel upstream of a drum inlet, a blower, a heat pump having a condenser disposed in the supply air channel, an evaporator disposed in the exhaust air channel, a throttle, a compressor, a controller and a heater. The dryer is configured such that moist warm air flows out of the drum in an exhaust air channel part, substantially in the same direction as the supply air in an inlet part of the supply air channel containing the condenser. The process air leaving the drum has a relative air humidity Frel, to which Frelmin?Frel?Frelmax applies, wherein Frelmin is a predetermined minimum value and Frelmax is a maximum value of the relative air humidity.

  • Patent number: 9988757
Abstract: The invention relates to an accommodating device for a removable filter in a domestic appliance, having an accommodating opening for accommodating the filter at least in part, and having a seal which, with the filter inserted, seals the accommodating opening in relation to the filter. In order for fluff, hair and other deposits and contaminants both adhering to the filter and deposited in the vicinity of the accommodating opening to be reliably kept away from the accommodating opening when the filter is being removed, the seal is arranged at the accommodating opening and has at least one sealing element which, when the filter is being removed, passes out of a sealing operating position into a screening position, in which it encloses at least part of the accommodating opening with screening action.
