  • Publication number: 20120169166
Abstract: A bearing, which has a first bearing ring, a second bearing ring and a claw pole generator-type power generation unit. The bearing has a substantially space-neutral power generation unit, which has a high filling factor for the induction coil. Every claw ring is connected to a section of the body of the first bearing ring in a magnetically conducting fashion and the magnetic circuit is substantially closed via the section of the body of the first bearing ring.

  • Publication number: 20110095861
Abstract: The invention relates to a bearing device having a position indicator, comprising a bearing receptacle (2) and a bearing (3) disposed in the bearing receptacle (2) having a first bearing part (4) displaceable relative to the bearing receptacle (2), wherein the position indicator (6) comprises a potentiometer having a resistor circuit (8) and a position finger (7). The aim of providing a bearing device having a position indicator allowing reliable capture of the relative position of the bearing in the bearing device and capture of the position of the bearing parts of the bearing to each other in a simple manner is achieved according to the invention in that the resistor circuit (8) is associated with the bearing receptacle (2) and first bearing part, and that the position finger (7) is associated with the bearing receptacle and first bearing part (4).

  • Publication number: 20100303400
Abstract: An apparatus for detecting the load on a rolling bearing which has at least one bearing ring. The apparatus has a transmitter for electromagnetic radiation, and a receiver for the radiation emitted by the transmitter. A space-saving and simple apparatus for detecting the load on the bearing ring of the bearing is achieved, by virtue of the fact that an optical waveguide is provided, into which the transmitter couples the electromagnetic radiation, and by virtue of the fact that the optical waveguide is arranged on a surface of the at least one bearing ring, and by virtue of the fact that the at least one bearing ring is in the region of an evanescent field coming from the optical waveguide. Also, a rolling bearing, which has at least one bearing ring with an apparatus for detecting the load on the at least one bearing ring is disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20100208241
Abstract: A measuring device for analyzing a lubricant of a bearing. The measuring device has an electromagnetic radiation emitter, a receiving element and a test area that is arranged between the emitter and the receiving element. The measuring device allows for current information on the condition of the lubricant in the bearing to be obtained. At least some sections of the test area are inside the bearing and the receiving element supplies a spectrum of electromagnetic radiation captured by the test area. Also, a bearing and a seal for the bearing and a method for detecting and monitoring the condition of the lubricant of a bearing.
