The system may identify attributes, characteristics or actions that a sub-set of members of the virtual group may have in common that may be related to goods and/or services for sale. The system may send advertisements related to the goods or services to devices associated with other members of the group not included in the sub-set of members.

Abstract: In one aspect, a method may include receiving a request from a first mobile device for a search for contacts meeting a criterion; searching a database of contacts for the contacts meeting the criterion and including the contacts meeting the criterion in search results; determining whether a second mobile device associated with one of the contacts meeting the criterion is within a vicinity of the first mobile device; and ranking the search results based on the determination.

Abstract: A method for gathering information relating to unsolicited messages. The method comprises deleting in a handheld communication device (1, 100, 200) message information associated with an unsolicited message. In response to deleting the message, information data, which is associated with the deleted message information or the unsolicited message, is forwarded to a message information unit (104, 224). Data information in a memory of said message information unit is updated based on the forwarded data associated with the unsolicited message. A method for blocking messages pertaining to data information stored in the message information unit is also disclosed.

In addition, the electronic equipment includes a shuffler section for altering at least one of the order in which the plurality of media objects in the playlist are played by the media player, or the content of the playlist, in response to a shuffle command.
